myCircadianClock Reviews

buggy and design flaws

manascisaac on

Canada

Aside from the frequent connection/server errors, it is missing the ability to edit and delete logged items. Still in my first 14 days, so perhaps those abilities are being activated later. It is also missing a way to quantify the food/beverage items. Even with those massive shortcomings, it is still worthwhile logging everything :-)

Gave up after a few day!

App didn’t record sleep using the ‘log now’ on several days. Recorded meditation incorrectly. HATE logging 1 med at a time. Unfortunately this is a poor app for long term use. If the app was improved they would get so much more accurate data for research. Unfortunate! Goodbye.

App won’t send data

Pattzilla on

Was working fine until day 14. Now will not send data. Also won’t send pending data. And won’t send feedback info when I tried to open a ticket. It’s a shame.

Infuriating UI

NadaYanni on

Canada

As nice as this app sounds it has some of the most infuriating UI of any app I’ve used. - It is nigh impossible to back-date key events if you don’t enter them before starting (food intake, exercise, sleep) - It records coffee as a fast breaking activity when there is absolutely no insulin production from this event. - the insistance on taking a picture of your food is baffling to me (personal opinion) - the UI is clunky and unintuitive: can’t easily tell what is being updated, can’t easily distinguish what part of the sub-menu you are currently in. It’s a confusing mess. - Was unable to link the account created using a single unique identifier (secret code) across multiple devices : Events entered into my iPhone did not show up on my iPad and vice versa. This forces you to use a single device in order to get proper data entry or invalidate the whole process. Ended up deleting the app after 4 days because poor, inconsistant and/or mismatched data entry invalidated ALL the data entered in the app.

Crashes, clunky interface

I found it laborious to enter daily data but made it almost to the 14 day mark. Then it just started crashing every time I tried to open it. I don’t want to delete and re-download because I don’t want to lose my data. I have really been longing for an app that tracks circadian patterns, too bad this isn’t it. Great idea though!

Good app, terrible update

This was a really helpful & easy to use app until yesterday’s upgrade: now it crashes on opening every time.

Intent is there but execution is very poor

wavecutter69 on

This app is extremely buggy, slow and inconsistent. The idea and concept are right on but execution sucks. I just downloaded the update and now it won’t work at all. Sad as I just got 9 days though recording my details.

Great experience

The app is easy to use. Information given about circadian rhythms very helpful in setting up own goals. Tracking food, sleep, exercise over the 12 weeks really helped me set new habits. I lost, weight, sleep better, have more energy and exercise more. Thank you!

Love the idea but concept need to be sharpened

the one goosey on

Just entering food is an annoyance, I eat a wide variety of plants and spices and when you have 20 different spices to write down at each meal is just not convenient to do so. Actually would take me as much time preparing food as to describe each component of let’s say a soup, I mostly eat soups and salads, you can’t really know in detail what is up. Perhaps you guys should team with cronometer.com it would make it easier. The concept of the app is gold and I want to keep up with the program nevertheless!

Very Glitchy

An incredibly frustrating app, very slow and with lots of issues. I kept at it for 11 weeks but finally gave up (on the app, not on the fasting) as it is not valid research anyway as there are so many problems with the app.
