mymind – Extend your mind

Obviously latest iPad version is broken. I can literally search for something tagged, and it still doesn’t find it. I’ve tried at least a dozen files. One day it works fine, next day don’t work at all. Search on iPhone version works fine and no issues. iPad version? At the moment, absolutely worthless. Too bad, I was thinking of purchasing, but I’m not paying for a Broken app.

I really am loving using mymind. It’s helped me keep track and remember a lot of important things and has come in handy often. The problem, I find, with the app is that there is too much friction in capturing an idea. Right now I have to search for the app, then open it, then click on the bar, then type. Because of this, I sometimes get too lazy and omit jotting something down. This goes against everything app aims to do. This issue, however, is easily solvable. Just add support for a lock screen widget so that when I whip out my phone to jot something down, there is minimal friction. Other than that, this app definitely deserves a 5 star rating.

I’m looking forward to reddit cards generating a preview again, rearranging spaces, Serendipity within a specific tag/time, an option in the sidebar navigation to see the date while scrolling, and a way to more easily “see” specific text in a card/mind notes when doing a search. It’s come a long way from 2021. I love it, and it’s only getting better. Thanks!

Love this app wish there was some sort of reminder function

Really good app! The idea is fantastic, the UI needs some work and it is getting better. But in order for me to use this long term I really need a way other than an Apple/Google sign in method. I can’t fully utilize this app unless I can access it everywhere and these two sign in methods are not sufficient. Also I don’t find much value in the serendipity area, it completely deletes the bookmark from your tile. Maybe have it archived instead? I personally don’t ever want to delete or remove bookmarks and I have a lot of them.

Just amazing, really well done. The search is fantastic, and they keep taking user feedback to improve. I highly recommend trying, they have a generous way to try it out free and the Masterplan is perfect for me. Thanks for building this, has made a big difference in my life.

Attempted to create first Space — named it, picked a color, tapped “Finish & Save”, and nothing happens. Button does not respond at all to being tapped.

If you want to try deep search executed well, get this app. It’s beautiful and functional. I can’t find any of my “saves” on Pinterest without searching forever. The deep search function on My Mind has made me completely switch over from Pinterest to My Mind. My Mind has become a part of my every day life!

Once all the little bugs have been squashed this will be a 5 star review and I’ll go premium. There’s some goofiness with being logged out of the app randomly and some stuff occasionally not being saved.
