mymind is a new way of saving things to your mind without wasting time organizing and categorizing. It does it all for you.
With one click you can save text highlights, images, articles, products or other bookmarks to your mind — It works like your real mind, sans the forgetfulness.
There are some things that does well but there are others that it fails badly.
I subscribed to the Mastermind plan again for a month to see how it is progressing but the page analysis on many pages is still lacking compared to the likes of Readwise Reader. I know this is not a one-to-one comparison, but at the high price to even get the reading mode it would need to replace my Read it Later app and it is a long way from achieving this.
I have unsubscribed again but will definitely be returning in the future. My worry, however, is that with the fast adoption of AI features in many applications and the additional features being added to dedicated Read it Later apps is that mymind may not keep up.
Terrible
Horrible app. Keeps logging out all the time.
Best app I’ve seen in a long time!
The concept of this app is absolutely mega! Loving the design as well. 😍🚀
New favourite notes/collection app
Started using this alongside Notion as thought it looked fun. But overtime, I’ve grown to love the less structured and more intuitive approach to collecting and managing stuff. Ended up cancelling my Notion subscription and using mymind for storing all of my personal bits and pieces.
Love the concept, but the app doesn’t work
So I think this is a mega idea. I downloaded from the App Store. But I tried to do what it says and go to a picture and hold until the menu comes up, then should have an option to add the my mind app. It doesn’t so it’s useless.
If you do manage to get this working how you say it should I would be interested.
Huge fan of v2 update
Always loved the concept and use on my Mac through the web (and now desktop app), but the v2 update for iOS improved a huge amount for me meaning I can now happily use the app everywhere. (iPad app also a nice bonus). Thanks!
iPad version?
It’s a good app but surely an iPad version would be simple to do?
Great concept hidden pricing
Nice programme and live auto tagging but quite cheesed off with the extremely sneaky pricing. it looks free in the App Store with no mention of in app purchasing or pricing structure.
But turns out to be $11.99 a month or $119 a year. While I don’t expect it to be free I do expect honesty. I wouldn’t have contemplated it at that price it’s way off budget, so now more time and effort wasted and my trust blown. Shame as I like the programme lots.
Please be upfront about subscription costs.
Nice concept, lacking some key features…
Could really do with pre-typed out tags on the share screen as I can’t remember how all my tags are formatted.
Also there’s no menu for help, support or feedback in your app.
Would love to be able to look at my content by filters… photography tags etc!
