Excellent Reddit app
The whole 3rd party Reddit api saga has resulted in a completely rewritten Narwhal app. It is clean, it is fast, and it is a delight to use. The subscription model allows it to use the Reddit api in ways that free clients are no longer able to, so you don’t have to use the awful official Reddit app.
Happy with this app
It’s no Apollo, but at the moment the best app out there for Reddit!!
Decent app, poor choice to go for a subscription model
Subscription does not add any value over the free experience of other apps such as Sink It or Yesterday.
Do not give in! Don’t pay
They fell, and fell hard.
Reddit is commercialising. I’m not going along. Narwhal does- I see proper development which has its costs. But actually liked the old low tech design better (ok playing videos was isht).
Anyways I’m not supporting this at 3,99 p/m for commercialising user generated content + adverts. Especially at this price.
You all can such my bollas
I want the free internet back. True freedom
Paid for the app and now they want me to subscribe
I just bought the app and now I can no longer use it unless I pay 4 eur/month. Quite scummy.
New is worse
What on earth was wrong with the old one in the first place…
Better
A lot nicer than the official reddit app
The History won't open
The History on iPad won't open Because The update still freeze.
Love it.
Still my favorite Reddit client after all of these years.
Almost perfect
Really like this app. If you could swipe to the next post it would be perfect.
