Narwhal 2 for Reddit Reviews
Claims its free, is not.
Description says it's free and then one of the onboarding screens says that there is a 3 day trial but the app is subscription-based yada yada. Either change the description here or make it free as advertised. Until then get reported for false advertising and get lost.
Dear Creator
I don’t use this app, just read the comments, however I just wanted to really write a review to you.
1. You’re doing amazing.
2. I’m sorry people are being mean because they clearly cannot read. Stuck a second grade reading level.
3. I cannot fathom how dumb people are and can’t read comments. The way you stated MULTIPLE TIMES in reply show it’s not YOU. Charging them it’s Reddit.
Finally, again, you’re amazing for creating a wonderful app such as this, to make it easier for everyone. Your work is greatly appreciated, and your feelings and work are valid. I hope your pillows are always cold, your fridge always stocked with food, bills always paid and still have much leftover money, and a wonderful day everyday.
One of the finest apps ever made
Not only did the devs have the balls to throw out an extremely popular app in favor of narwhal 2 which brought huge, risky even, overhauls to the app but also a ton of modernization and improvements, but also was confident in how good the app was to launch a subscription option after reddits api changes. This is the app to get hands down
Garbage
Randomly limits access to the app and begs you to pay money. Just list it as a paid app instead. Misleading and honestly the UI is trash work.
Reddit screwed itself
I will never pay a subscription fee just to browse a website. Reddit’s own website and mobile app are shovelware. Therefore, Reddit itself is shovelware and you must pay third party developers to provide a useable platform.
And Reddit has the audacity to charge these developers for fixing their own website? Message read loud and clear. Goodbye Reddit, won’t miss you. Another casualty of the rampant greed timeline. This shouldn’t even be an issue.
Bad design and unfair developers
You FORCED me to upgrade to narwhal 2, which is terrible UI. Efff u
Yet another sub? No ty
I’ll gladly pay a hefty one-time fee to use the app, but charging a monthly subscription is just ridiculous.
Awesome app!
This app is amazing! It features TONS of customization unlike the normal Reddit app, fast and smooth gestures, clean ui, and so much more. I highly recommend it!
Prefer this to any other Reddit app
Used this and many other apps including Apollo has all the features I want. Worth the money to have features the official app doesn’t care about.
So happy I found this
The iOS app has been pretty frustrating to use, particularly not being able to enlarge the text size (grrr). I love how customizable nearly every element of this app is. It’s really astonishing. And it works quite well. Most of its limitations have to do with being a third-party app, and Reddit limits certain functions. It’s a fair trade off from my pov.
