It’s a hell of a lot better and cheaper than reddit premium. Very glad I found this

I was awaiting the update for a long time however given we live in the post-Apollo world of reddit apps, I must say the new 2.0 update feels subpar. For example, you can enable swipe right or left to go back everywhere but it disables swiping on comment and other functions. This is unacceptable in 2023. Basic uni design class 101. I know the author put in a lot of effort which is commendable but I wish more thought would be given some of the roadmap choices given the active and outspoken community. I won’t be using it anymore let alone be paying premium for the API access. Still, I wish the maker all the best as clearly they are very passionate about Reddit and honestly any alternative is better than the garbage official app.
I love the swipe to upvote and downvote, but please add this feature to op self post text as well. Thank you!
Had an AppStore redirect from clicking a thread. Random pop ups when I press threads. Not the ads, but threads. Just got two in a row and now I'm done with this pile of crap.
Love the bait and switch paywall. Why not put the price of the app in the AppStore rather than having people download the app then pay walling the app after going through the tutorial.
To use this app, you have to agree to an alarming number of permissions. Read the fine print before agreeing. I opted out.
so happy they added auto unmute!! only thing that would make the app better would be being able to scroll through media (scroll up in one media for the next posts media)
I was willing to pay to stop seeing ads on the Reddit app, but premium Reddit is limited to just one account. Narwhal 2 eliminates all ads and supports multiple Reddit accounts, all under a single subscription. So far I have only good things to say about Narwhal!
The UX is honestly amateurish and hard to get used to, no matter how much customization you do. All of the features feel very cobbled together with no holistic thought put into a cohesive design.
They only offer a 7-day free trial, or paid “premium”. No other options. Don’t bother downloading unless you’re willing to pay subscription
