Useless app
What’s the sense? All I can see is my current balance and payment methods on the app. That’s it. Much better off going to the National Grid official website. I deleted this as it’s a waste of space.

This app doesn’t even link ur accounts together. It also doesn’t show when previous payments were made or how much. It it shows is what’s due. Annoying and useless
I was hoping to have more features, such as able to view the old balance, make changes to the payment account, able to see the details about the usage, and etc. Also, the biometric feature doesn’t work. I was able to enable it but the app doesn’t really use it to sign in.
So I can’t pay $72 and they want shut my gas off?? Go ahead.. I’ll pay eastern Propane.. I am so glad I don’t have these crooks for my electricity.. had em years ago, more awful then.. we have options you clowns..
It’s amazing the latest update actually made the app. I thought it was impossible but they did it.

Can never sign in. Also it never saves my login info so I have to type it in over and over again. Worst app I’ve used
I was unable to login or use this app for the past 10 years. They FINALLY made it so you can just login. I don’t know why this made this impossible but so easy to do online for so long. 5 stars. That said, I just tried to pay and it’s asking me to login to a third party payment system. Why can’t I just pay. Why doesn’t this just link to my existing account and saved payment methods. I guess it’s useless still. Maybe by 2034 we can pay with out National Grid account. I don’t understand why this app exists because the website is far superior even those this looks nice and should be more convenient. I’m so upset about this anti-design I reported “speedpay” as fraudulent, which makes sense because I already have payment methods setup so it actually behaves like a scam. Someone at National Grid should be fired for general UX incompetence.
You can’t see your bill, your rebates, much of anything other than paying your bill.
I’ve had the app for over a year now and it’s given me problems all this time. I have set up an account to avoid putting my data manually every single time, and the account for the “speed pay” has never ever worked. So i go to fill up my data manually and guess what, it doesn’t work either!!! When im filling up my info an error screen pops up and send me all the way to the beginning, and i end up in a loop where i have to do the same thing over and over till the application decides to work. Today this mistake resulted on a late payment fee due to the app malfunction. This is NASTY, I really think NATIONALGRID does this on purpose so we all have to pay late payment fees. I do not believe this huge company doesn’t have the personnel or the money to make this work fine. It’s lame and sad. But it is what it is…
