Makes my life so much easier
It’s so helpful to be able to book travel and hotel in one app without worrying if it’s in policy. Also, insanely helpful to not have to worry about keeping receipts, how I’ll get repaid or my manager approving expense reports!
Unusable
This app is unusable literally. Ever since the rebrand the app hasn’t worked at all. I’ve deleted and reinstalled, logged-in and logged out. It simply doesn’t work.
I doesn’t add my trips so I can’t see booking info etc. I’m back to relying on email confirmations.
Absolute terrible experience.
TripActions was better
TripActions name let the users to get an idea of what the service is from their name. Navan is such a non-explanatory name. Don’t make me and your customers think on such things, please.
Moreover, I’ve been a customer of TripActions for 5+ years. I live in Dublin, Ireland. Navan is a small satellite town, close to Dublin. The name makes me think that the app is some kind of Govt thing.
If you believe that Ireland is small and non-existent, you’re wrong. All tech giants (FAANG & Co), 70% of Europe’s (!!!) pension funds and the vast majority of hedge funds are registered there and have significant staff there. So, all the employees of the above will be joking about the name.
This name does not sound like anything, in the best case of sounds like some kind of a suburb.
Nice design but poor support for international flights
TripActions might make business travel easier by centralising bookings, but as an international traveller who visits the US often, it’s not good.
Non-American airlines are missing critical features like seat assignments. Who is going to have peace of mind booking a 12-hour flight without selecting a seat? Then you go to the airport and they give you a middle seat or worse, they say there’s no room for you. This happened to a colleague before.
Airlines make it notoriously difficult to amend bookings made through third parties like TripActions. It’s really frustrating having to use it, even though it looks nice and is responsive as an application. They should work harder to have better relationships with airlines or incorporate some of those missing features to international airlines. Be less US-centric, please!
