NDI HX Camera: Easy Streaming

Overall a really « basic » set of features, it misses a lot of customization such as being able to completely choose a resolution, framerate, you just have a « 3 modes switch » between 480p /1080p/2160p, all of them at 30fps. It misses 60fps, and probably some more camera settings.

Despite doing what we expect from the app, it lack basics: - no white balance adjustment - no camera selection for iPhones with multiple cameras - no fine focus adjustment - no options to remotely manage the app, and that a pity as it is attended to use the phone as a NDI camera source which might not be in your hands all the time and might need adjustments. I’m disappointed. Too expensive for what’s inside the box.

Could we have a switch from 29.97fps to 25fps, please ? It can really be a pain in the a… in some use cases. Sienna NDICam does it, but I really prefer your app. Thanks

Après avoir essayé Telecast (le principe d’un paiement renouvelable ne me convient pas), puis EpocCam (connexion trop instable, que ce soit en Wifi/USB/NDI), je me suis dit : au point où on en est, pourquoi pas ? (J’avais aussi acheté NDI capture et ça fonctionne bien)... Satisfait de l’avoir fait : connexion stable, très faible latence, bref adopté. Bref, ma recommandation (après avoir perdu un peu d’argent à essayer les autres) : mieux vaut prendre « l’original »...

We need a way to select which iOS audio device is used and a way to remote control the app itself. Make it happen and this will be the best cam streaming app.

I was hoping to use this in a situation where I need image stabilization. Unfortunately it does not seem like the camera supports Apple built-in image stabilization, which is a total bummer. Perhaps I’m missing something, but I don’t see any options for it.

The NDI camera app is extremely useful and powerful. I use it in a wide variety of situations, including as a WebCam. The only things missing are the ability to use the volume controls of the phone to zoom in and out. This would make using it as my WebCam thousand times easier as I can just hit the hardware volume keys to control the zoom. Another missing feature is the ability to select frame rates currently it is locked to 30fps with no way to change this.

Seems to connect faster and hold a connection better than previous NDI. If you are having issues with NDI performing inconsistently make sure your devices are only on your 5G network and aren’t switching to the 2g one.
