I had an account but hadn’t used it for a while. I suspect I signed in with Facebook. Now I’ve created an account with my email address I just get a message saying to tap CONTINUE and login with it, but tapping it does nothing.

After logging in a pop-up appears explaining that Facebook and Google accounts are no longer valid and all accounts will be transferred to email-based. All well and good but when I select the Continue button at the bottom of the pop-up the pop-up doesn’t disappear meaning I can’t access any of the app. I’ve tried closing and reinstalling the app but still have the same issue.

This used to work fine but now it won’t play anything apart from the song of the day. Considering how much is the membership, it’s a shame, because the content is gold. This seriously needs to be updated, asap.

In the last year when I click on some albums the app freezes and has to be closed. It’s always the same albums and it’s a significant number of them. To push the annual subscription up by a staggering 39% despite no app maintenance is disgraceful. Is this a tactic to push consumers toward Apple Music I wonder?

Hi this is my 3rd attempt at this app. I received an email from NYA saying it’s now available on iPhones/IPads I’ve paid my £38+ subscription only to be told I can’t listen to anything but song of the day. Please Apple what’s going wrong with this app? Mary

Really enjoyed this app for two months and now it no longer recognises my subscription. Tried logging out and deleting app etc but still doesn’t work. Contacted hosts but no reply. Really disappointed as I love the content which I would rate as five stars. Will have to delete and stick to playing his vinyl

While the app doesn't have the polish found elsewhere, as a portal for the NYA it does just fine. Once you've got used to how the filing system works, you get ot find most of what you're looking for easy enough. It's just great to have all of Neil's work together in one place and at such high resolution. Even with Lossless, Apple can't get near to how good this stuff sounds. If you love Neil Young, sign up for the NYA and get the app. Your life will be the better for it.

I just logged in, bought a subscription but the app simply won’t acknowledge it. Click subscribe button - “You are already subscribed”. Try and play content “You need a subscription.” Did you actually bother testing the most important bit of the app tech before rolling out this version?

Fantastic app and fantastic music quality.

This is fantastic- went for the subscription and have instant access to all of Neil Young’s albums to stream in hi resolution sound quality (above cd). (Also the option to stream cd quality or 320 Kbps also if you are on the go and need to save data) Listened to his most recent live album release, Songs for Judy, which is a collection of 70’s live recordings. Version of a man needs a maid is soooo good! Thoroughly enjoyed listening. Also like the fact you can click and instantly get song lyrics to the song you are listening to. I think having access to all of his music to experience in this way is just wonderful! Already have a lot of cds/vinyl by him but there is just a vast catalogue of my stuff that I’m glad I’ve got this app. Awesome!
