Do you ever argue with your child when it’s time for dinner or when they have had too much screen time? From your phone, Net Nanny® enables you to turn off the Internet instantly so you can get their attention and limit screen time.
Ever worry where your child is? With Net Nanny®, you can view each child’s location with a Family Map.
Imagine the peace of mind if you had a parental control app that could...
• Give you a list of apps your child has used
• Act as an app blocker when you need it to
• Act as a porn blocker and block other bad content like violence with the best internet filter!
With Net Nanny®, you can be sure you have the best protection available to shield your kids from online dangers.
Not all filters are created equal. Unlike most filters that block entire sites, the award-winning Net Nanny® filtering technology looks at individual web page content and determines in real time if it is safe for your child. You’ll have complete control over the settings that will guide the monitoring, and appropriate filtering, of your kids’ devices.
Whenever Net Nanny® determines there might be an unsafe situation for your child – such as accessing dangerous app or web content – you will be notified immediately.
Net Nanny® allows parents to know, and then allow or block, the apps their child has downloaded on their device.
With Net Nanny® you can enhance child safety with family locator. You can see where your child has been via family search GPS tracking by mapping their location history, and if your child loses their device, you can trace its most recent locations.
Welcome to the all-new Net Nanny®, the best app for screen time parenting!

Stopped working with the latest IPhone update. Customer support is non existent. Tried reinstalling but won’t install. Tried on three different iPhones, none of them work. I don’t think they are actually supporting this app anymore. It’s been two years since last update. Why is it still listed on Apples App Store? Don’t buy this, waste of money.
Never got it to work
Installed both parent and child apps on iPhones and an iPad. App was never able to connect to child iPhone app and monitor activity. NN customer service was unhelpful. Refund will be requested.
Big disappointment
After reading how great this app was I couldn’t be more disappointed. After installing and re- installing several times (as per support) it never worked correctly. Never tracked time correctly and never tracked the actual phone correctly as far as location. Nothing worked the way it should. Also slowed down the target phone and made it mostly unusable aside from phone calls. I’ll be purchasing something else.
Not great
Service support was like talking to a wall, it cuts out the internet for apps such as gps, safari, amazon no internet. 2 stars cause they have a no hassle refund policy.
Not working
Not good!FAKE
App needs work
Trying this out to see if I want to buy this for my kid. The app is terrible. It freezes all the time, so I have to close it completely to make it work again. It erased the schedule I created for pausing the device. It doesn’t update what my kid is watching.
I specifically got this for You Tube monitoring, but I think I’ll look elsewhere for a smoother user experience.
False Advertisement
After a lot of research I chose this app because it had good reviews and would allow me to control my 4 childrens’ phones/iPads. I was looking for something that would allow me to shut down devices with a click or block apps in the same manner. From the description given this app should do these things when you have the subscription. I installed and went through the setup process for all kids, after I finished I wanted to test out the usefulness of the ‘pause device’ feature. Sitting next to my 5 year old playing his iPad, on the same Wi-Fi and with all of the setting in the appropriate manner I changed his setting to pause device. It did not work, I thought it might need a minute to process so I waited, after about 10 minutes still nothing. After I started clicking through everything on the app to start figuring out settings, come to find out quite a few of the features do not work with iOS devices making the subscription a complete waste for my family. I am now back to square one on trying to make devices safer for my kids and to help us all better manage their screen time.
Poor experience.
Not worth the time or money spent to get this set up. It didn’t block safari. It stopped working after my kid let their phone run out of power. When they charged it back up NN was not functioning.
Waste of time. As frustrating as apples parental come trolls can be at time, NN is worse.
Very slow and buggy app
This app is very slow when trying to make changes. Crashes all of the time. I wish they would rebuild this app.
Maybe better for Android?
I’m wondering if Apple products just make life too hard for protections like Net Nanny. We haven’t had much success with it - really slow load times of web sites, odd things like not being able to text pictures, or apps just not working with NN running (like Spotify). I’m wanting NN to be the answer to a safety net, but it feels more like a road block. When my child deleted it because it was so frustrating, I wasn’t alerted (maybe I missed something?). It does allow me to see where she is, and it seems like a good idea - and the reviews on Tom’s Guide are really good… but that hasn’t been our experience.
