Frustrated on the installing/activating step

Not my first time to use a parental control app, but this took me hours to figure out the setup due to lacking of a sufficient and clear instructions, the app’s owner could argue it is clear enough, but please listen to the customers. In the process of requesting a refund, hope this process is a smooth one.

Not a good product

Absolute garbage. I saw the low ratings but was still hoping for the best. Set up on my son’s PC. Most of the time parental control page shows the device offline. App is terrible. Very limited function. Can’t just grant more time with the click of a button. Running the schedule gives you NO information on what your child is doing. You have to be in the screen time allowance mode, and even then gives you almost no information. I’m going to try to troubleshoot some functionality for one more day then requesting a refund.

save your money

this app is expensive and only worked for a couple weeks before it decided to forever (even w reset) say my kid was at school and instead of selectively screening n time managing internet on my kid’s phone it decided to disable his internet. i tried checking the parental controls, settings, schedule… finally had to delete the app and and admit i was out the $ for a year’s subscription when it only worked for a few weeks. don’t repeat my mistake, this app is crapp

Avoid this waste of money!

This app does not work - it does not prevent unwanted content within social media platform apps. A smart enough teenager can easily toggle off the VPN and continue accessing all unwanted content online including porn websites. The only thing that this app prevents is my child sending important emails for school related work, and receiving innocent group family WhatsApp images. What a waste! It might take decades to fix all the flaws in this app.

Dont waste your money

Don’t waste your money on this app.. doesn’t work half the time.. and when it does.. it restricts absolutely everything.. not user friendly. 70$ down the toilet.

Not worth it

This overpriced app doesn’t have half of the features you can find on cheaper (or even free!) apps. Auto-renewal is practically impossible to stop. You have to mail them and if they don’t reply back, their terms and conditions state that they will keep billing you. Which they did, even though I’ve sent many mails. Many times, the time limit will not work so the kid can use the device forever. Save money and frustration and try any other real app for your kid.

Net Nanny is great to help kids and parents learn about the internet. Our kids have the freedom to play their online games and listen to music on their iPads without us having to sit right beside them. And Net Nanny can block inappropriate content, which is great!

Glitchy

We tried this for a week but it worked very poorly. Users had issues with using the internet at all, and it wasn’t tracking websites visited at all. Pick a different app. This one is a waste of money.

Provides great overview of activity; some internet stoping challenges on iPhone.

- I found a that net nanny provided a great overview of activity as shown by the “net nanny family feed” - I just for a week and had some issues with the Internet resuming after a scheduled block - able to set multiple schedules as well as block on demand - for iPhone, did not have the ability to schedule specific apps but it’s just a broad schedule that is applied to everything it appears. This is something I was looking for. I understand things can be difficult with Apple though.
