Can’t activate subscription during trial

The app is pretty good for reading, but buggy - e.g crashes/having to open/close the app to view the page, but once you get past that it’s pretty good. Also, it was impossible for me to activate a paid subscription during the free trial. I went back and forth with customer services for days, until I finally gave up and created a new account.

Bad service and unprofessional

I was an active user for three months and I must say this is the worst audibook app I’ve used. Don’t get me wrong, the books and materials are okay but the service is a bit slow and unprofessional in my eyes (not the fault of the employees facing the public). I signed up to Nextory as I wanted to specially use some of the magazines they offer, however, it took them 2 month to update them with new ones. Also, customer service replied back to me with an email of another customer, I believe twice. Your inability to process customers requests and the lack of knowledge about what’s in your app makes me think that Nextory is comprising growth over customer satisfaction. The poor lady from customer services, I was talking with about magazines not being updated seemed extremely helpless as she was sending emails to his “magazine colleagues” and nothing was happening in two months. Also, some magazines were updated only with the newest magazine, skipping one month. I understand that this seems not as a big deal, but for me was enough to not recommend Nextory and cancel my subscription. I hope you can take this as constructive feedback and fix these issues.

Forcing people into a new feature (reviews) is absolutely horrible practice.

Be careful to make sure your cancellation went through!

I meant to just do the free trial and only continue if I thought it was worthwhile but ended up having to pay for two full months as I somehow didn’t go through the cancellations steps correctly, twice! Emailed to ask for a refund straight away but wouldn’t get one. Not happy.
