The Nintendo Switch Online app is designed to help enhance your online gameplay experience on Nintendo Switch™. With this app, you can use voice chat while gaming, see whether your friends are online and use game-specific services!
Game-specific services are currently available for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3.
A Nintendo Switch Online membership is required to use this app.

◆ Checking the online status of friends
You can use your smart device to check whether your friends are online. You'll also be able to check what games your online friends are playing, and even send friend requests from within this app!
*You will need to use your Nintendo Switch console to accept friend requests and configure other friend settings.
◆ Using voice chat while gaming
When playing online in supported games, you can use voice chat with your friends via this app. How you use voice chat depends on the game and mode you're using - for example, when you split into teams in Splatoon 3, you can choose to use voice chat just with your team members so that friends on the other team won't know your next move.
Attention:
● A Nintendo Switch console and supported software are required to use this app's services.
● A paid membership to Nintendo Switch Online is required to play online in some Nintendo Switch software and to use some of this app's features.
● You must have a Nintendo Account for ages 13 and up in order to use some of this app's features, including voice chat.

Cool but need more
Hello’s Nintendo team. the app is perfect and works well, but needs add more like other companies . message with your friends explore the eshop see your profile and your games , also see your pictures and videos recorded it on your console , And more … I hope you make this update 😊

This is pretty good app, but the problem is, not enough service, splatnet 2 I’ve never try before. I can buy the game, I’m pretty excited for spaltoon 3. And smash bros. Is okayish. But nook link, is the best, I love to get nook points per day, and read what I just do In my island yesterday, Acnh is almost perfect game on switch, but the problem is updates, you need to update it before the entire ac community will be mad.
Same issues cant use app
Even after the update the app keeps crashing at the same place and never manages to continue further when I manage to skip the crash point. I simply cant use the app, why?

Since the last update I can't log in the app. It's stuck on the loading screen. Please fix it.

Its really amazing but....
The voice chat is pretty terrible sue to low quality i really think its a good idea to make a built in voice chat on the switch
