I was hoping for more functionality and interaction between the app and your Nintendo switch account but honestly it’s completely bare bones and lazy. It wouldn’t be hard to add a way to see your accounts library and use the store through the app like Steam does.
I was logging in, however whenever I login it keeps saying the page cannot be displayed. It says to try again but it won’t work. Fix this immediately.
The app crashes on sign in.
Cant even link account. Crashes after trying to select user. Not good enough.

For what it’s worth, Nintendo has been able to do everything it set out to accomplish. It may not be as robust as PSN or Xbox Live, but they’ve been out for more than a decade at this point, and have had YEARS to refine and patch out bugs. Hopefully they’ll be able to improve in game lag, but at this point the app is perfectly satisfactory.
I was excited for this, but at the end it was a huge let down by the fact that it's too complicated to make it work in harmony. I really hope Nintendo will opt for a console voice chat instead of relying on an external device.
This voice chat solution is terrible. Nintendo need to make it right with a simple elegant intuitive solution.
Too many problems, but there are some glaring issues with this service. -voice chat cannot be used while using another app -voice chat cannot be used while display is off -cannot hear game audio if using voice chat -audio will cut out when getting a notification. Please look into fixing this app in order to modernise this into 2017's gaming standards.
