As a trained classical musician it’s now great to be able to practice a bit of sheet music as well. Well done nkoda for bringing western music to these shores. Kudos 👍
My 13 year old son is learning to play the violin, and this app has all the music he wants to play - but never had access to earlier. I don’t know how he found out about nkoda - but it is sure to take his passion for violin to the next level
It’s always been hard to find sheet music in Asia. This app is awesome - don’t need to rely on sub standard pdf’s now to play my Piano
Immensely helpful for musicians...The repository is huge... so very cost effective! Love this app... it’s been a wonderful experience so far...
My daughter Elisa has recently taken up singing lessons, but kept forgetting her music (of course her teacher had words). She got an iPad for her birthday this year (which of course she NEVER forgets) and her teacher suggested that we download nkoda so that all her sheets are in one place. Best. Decision. Ever.
App is just incredibly slow and frustrating. Not possible to rely on for any performance or critical practice situation.
The information within the library is fantastic. But there are so many glitches with the app, from login not always functioning to not having the correct account information.
I will support a couple of months, because I’m a musician myself, too. And I want to give a chance for this app to improve. It is quite a bit unstable, though. The idea is great, but the app performance is slow or frustrating. What if this happens in a concert? I hope they will fix it soon.
Took 4 messages for customer service to reply. Then they “fixed” my account but still can’t login. After login chrome can’t open the app. Then once they supposedly fixed my account, all the pieces that took me a while to find in my library and save are gone. Then it asks me for my number to verify (really, you want my phone number??? Is this a bank or something of the sort???), however, when I input my number, it tells me the number is already taken. Waste of time, the only reason I’m going through the pain of making this work is because I have to play this solo piece and this is the only place I can get the music where I am. I haven’t been able to practice for many days trying to solve this. As soon as my concert is done I’m cancelling my subscription and never trying again. *** Update: still no help. I’m cancelling and paying to overnight the sheet music I need from England. Spending this money is infinitely better than dealing with the frustration of trying to make this work, poor customer service, and the uncertainty of this app letting me hung to dry for my concert. Really can’t risk it.
