**nkoda subscription information:**
Your subscription will be charged to your credit or debit card through your Apple account once the free trial ends.
This will be monthly or annually dependent on your subscription choice. Both subscription options provide access to the unlimited use of our entire library, features, and benefits. These options provide the same service and the only difference is a 20% saving on price when subscribing annually.
If you cancel your subscription before your trial ends, and re-subscribe after your trial has ended, we won’t be able to offer another full free trial. Your subscription will automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal or cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions can be managed by the user and auto-renewal can be turned off by going to the user’s Apple account settings after purchase.
I have been trying to use Nkoda occasionally, because my institution has bought an access for it. I have no clue if the app works better for individual subscriptions, but the institutional access is a pure nightmare: with some luck you might be able to use Nkoda for a while, but very soon the app starts to cause some problems such as claiming you need to sign in again etc. Very often (such as now) I don't even get in to the app, although the browser says the login is ok. And no, I am not using an old iPad, have latest iOS update and updated software also.
I am very surprised that the big editions have agreed to work with such a crappy software.
Horrible app
It keeps crashing all the time. If you have the audacity to ask for so much money for your service, have the decency to provide a functioning app. Goodness me.

Amazing library
nkoda may have had some growing pains with its score reader, but the offerings in the sheet music library are the best there is - hands down. I love having the canonized masterworks available, in several editions; and all those obscure composers from around the world! It is the perfect exploration tool, really, with scores and parts for such awide selection of orchestral and stage music.
Not good for annotating at all and canceling free trial was almost impossible
I would prefer to give no stars!
Editing is incredibly difficult, and even though I started the 7-day trail of the app 6 days ago it was automatically renewed today and I was charged for a monthly subscription. So I immediately tried to find where I could unsubscribe and it was incredibly difficult (eventually had to google quite a bit and then managed to via managing my Apple subscriptions).
Seems to me that they are pressing you into purchase because the technology they offer really is not that great. I used this because it had a full score I wanted to study asap, but the quality of that was poor and annotating is very clumsy. I’m used to forescore and have to say that that beats it by a long way, in all accounts. My advice would be to avoid teven trialling this and rather buy some beautiful printed scores for the money and scan these, if they are not available online.
Slow and eventually stopped working
Nkoda stopped working on my iMac Pro. It just freezes and gives an "program not responding" error. Tried accessing it via iPad only to get an ”wrong password” error. I reset the password and I still get the same error. Tried accessing the software via apple account only to get an "Error. An error occured while processing you request". Sent email to support five days ago and still waiting for a reply.
The software was also very sluggish even that I have a capable computer and a fast internet connection. So. Due to all this experience, even that the overall idea is nice, I cancelled the order.
Unsubscribing is made really hard, almost like a legal scam
Poor selection with editions of well known pieces or music. The app alone is alright. Managing subscription is purposefully made hard to cancel so they will take advantage of people paying for more than they wanted to if they fancy cancelling.
In theory this is great but it actually sucks
The app works and has lots of sheet music, so I’ll give some stars for that. But I cant justify the cost of a subscription.
The main issue is turning pages. It is utterly embarrassing. Just upload any pdf to ibooks and see how it should work. Sometimes swiping turns the page, sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes tapping the corner turns the page, sometimes it doesnt. When you’re playing a long piece with lots of page turns, this issue just wants you to stop playing and throw the ipad out of the window.
Another thing: changing songs takes forever, even if they are in the same playlist. Because you have to exit the sheet, exit the song, choose a new song, open it and then zoom in to the sheet. This is also ridiculous. Why cant i queue up the whole playlist and play them all?
And the app is generally so slow with constant crashes. Look at spotify for a similar type of app and how well that works.
Search frotee
After searching Haydn, the upper corner typing field vanished and i can’t search no more. :( problem occured with newest IPad pro.
Good app but buggy
Crashes before opening on the new iPad Pro. Unusable!
