Recent changes have lost u a star!
I love Zoho Notebooks and use it every day - I think it is a brilliant app and I would’ve given you 5 stars but your recent changes to the app have really been a nightmare for me and rather than improving the app, it has actually making me consider other options. The problem is that I have Notebooks that were in a specific order (basically like a journal), and I opened it up, after the app update, to find that my previously carefully ordered work had been thrown into disarray. There were notes in places they shouldn’t be, etc, and when I tried to start putting them back in the order I wanted them, it wouldn’t let me, even though I had put it on “custom” in settings. I move a note where I want it, only to find minutes later it gets moved to some other place - and it’s quite random each time too so I have to keep searching for where my own notes are- really time consuming and annoying- I am not happy.
There’s a saying “don’t fix what ain’t broke “ - I was happy with Notebooks and I liked pinching the notes together to make my own groupings and I liked the way they were displayed. I do not like this new system. At all.
Out of synch
It was a good app to use , but since the last update what is on the subfolders no longer matches the contents. All a bit of a mess now.
Poor performance
This is a good notebook for short notes.
Anything longer than that, and it has severe performance issues with constant freezing. Deeply disappointing as this would otherwise be a good app, that I’d happily pay a small amount for.

You can’t count on this
More than anything else a notebook app needs to be reliable, and sadly this isn’t. I’ve been using it for a while now and I love aspects of it (it’s pretty, it’s cheaper than some rivals, its organisation options are good). But it crashes a lot, sometimes it won’t load my notes, and far too often it won’t save my notes. So reluctantly I think I’ll be returning to Evernote (which has its own issues and is overpriced). Why no one can make a genuinely good notes app is beyond me.

Keeps crashing
Used for months, been crashing for months. Now unusable and can't recover notes. Do not bother using!
Good but needs addressing
Notebook is great. But it’s really annoying that I can’t print from it or send certain things to Facebook without paying extra to convert to PDF.
That used to come as part of the package. But it doesn’t any more.
