Top Up didn’t work

Similar problem with previous review - tried topping up. Didn’t work n still amount charged to credit card

Technically ok but did not return my refundable deposit

Downloaded this to transfer my physical card to the digital one but the refundable deposit was not refunded as specified on the app. 🥲

This app is scam tourist with rocket high exchange rate, please do not use it!!!!

Awesome experience for tourists

This app has made my stay in HK a breeze. No cash needed. No hassle while registering and top up is immediate and seamless. Absolute must have for any tourist in HK.

Topping up

If you need to top up don’t do it in the wallet because it will always ask you to add a card. Instead use the app preferably download load it again and then follow the instructions to top up.

Horrible experience… HK needs to buck up… Singapore public transportation payment mode is 10x better

Well HK is definitely going backwards with this app… firstly tapping in out of the card works intermittently Exchange rate is daylight robbery… worse than bank rate and they do not allow selecting paying in HKD… forcefully wanting to earn from exchange profit App is problematic 0.1/5 star

Did not work

I installed the app and tried to link Youtrip debit card for the minimum topup amount. The amount was deducted from my Youtrip account but nothing reflected on Octopus app. The app kept giving me only one option to add new card. Was wondering if the app was a scam.

BADDDDD!!

Was topping up by the app and it suddenly crash! The transaction got thru the bank but it didnt reflect in this app!

Prone to crash upon opening.

Multiple crashes with message ‘Service currently unavailable.’ When it finally stabilizes, card details are unavailable.

STAY AWAY

Stay away from this. Added a card and I topped up. Since then the app is non accessible even with update. It looks more like a scam than a working app. Just get a physical card from 7-Eleven.
