Nominated for a Golden Geek in the Best Solo Board Game category, Onirim is a card game where you play as a dream walker, lost in a mysterious labyrinth. You must find the dream doors before the dream time runs out, or you will be trapped forever!
Will you wander around the dream chambers hoping that luck will reveal the doors, or will you meticulously explore each room type? Either way, you'll have to avoid the traps of the dreaded nightmares that haunt the labyrinth's corridors.
Onirim is a solitaire card game. You must beat the game by collecting all eight dream doors before you run out of cards. You can get them by playing cards of the same colour for three consecutive turns or by discarding one of your precious Key cards when you draw a Door card. In both cases, you will need to make the best use of the cards you have in your hand while paying attention to the Nightmare cards. These cards are mixed in with the others, and if you draw one, you will be faced with a painful choice.
In addition to single player play, Onirim offers players an intuitive interface, automatic deck management and statistics that measure progress and success.
Onirim includes the following elements:
- Shadi Torbey's Onirim base game in solo mode
- The original illustrations of the base game by Philippe Guerin and Élise Plessis, with animations
- A solo game mode
- A detailed interactive turn-by-turn tutorial integrated into the game
- Statistics recorded offline to allow you to see your progress
- No purchases or ads in the application
- Supported languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish

Would be perfect but discard pile no longer works

Great card game. Will buy the physical one. Since recent ios update I cannot discard cards. Is there a bug?

Brilliantly simple; simply brilliant

I never really liked traditional solitaire card games but this is cool! It takes a few tries to get your first victory (or maybe I have a small IQ) so be patient. Peaceful but sort of exciting music. Really well laid out. Quite addictive.

Exceeded expectations

Been eyeing this one up for a long time as a card game. I was so pleased to find it on the App Store and even more so when I found out how addictive it was! Great implementation and my only small criticism is the font and music feel like they could’ve been better. However this probably won’t make a lot of difference to many people.

Beautiful game

Awesome solitaire card game that rewards skill as well as luck. Tense decision-making with beautiful artwork that looks great on iPad. Reasonably-priced expansions add depth and ratchets up the excitement. Get this game.

Best solitaire game!

Great game.

Lovely little single-player game

Downloaded on a whim when it became free, but it's definitely worth whatever its price was before. Game-play is a bit like solitaire, but certainly different enough to make it distinctive. The Glyphs add-on is highly recommended (was also free, though asked for email registration). Winning requires attention and thinking (planning ahead, weighing probabilities, etc), which is nice. Difficult and chancey enough to be frustrating when you lose, but not off-putting. A game takes about 4-5 minutes, I'd say, great for a little break (although kinda hard to put away). The musical background is very nicely done, great atmosphere. The melody fits the darkish theme of the graphical design, which is equally well-done. Altogether charming package, highly recommended.

Perfect solo game

If you like playing a solo game or solitaire with a bit strategy, then this is for you. Got hooked after playing few more rounds

Great game now the others

This is a great game both the physical and digital versions. The convenience of the digital lets me play anywhere anytime now just need at least some of the others in the series to have a digital version

Meh.

I think i would have enjoyed it but there are too many nightmares. Played three games and there is a nightmare every minute. First game I lost because deck ran out, second because i got 4 nightmares in a row so i forfeited, third because in 2 minutes i got three nightmares and besides the nightmares it wouldn’t let me discard for any reason so i forfeited again. Not challenging only frustrating so not fun.
