Whilst the Ooler is a great product, the app has some odd characteristics such as the timer features which aren’t always predictable. This happens especially if a schedule is turned on after it’s scheduled start time. It would also be nice to see future versions fitted with proper Smart Home implementation.
I believe we were told there was to be functions in the app, to taste each nights sleep and fine tune the temperatures. However it is strictly trial and error. Good product, bad app
App is simple to use however the home screen displays temperature in Fahrenheit with no option to change it, which isn’t very helpful for us folk in the Celsius/metric world
Ridiculous for such an expensive bit of kit. Also stuck in Fahrenheit and won’t show Celsius properly on the app
The Ooler does not sync the temp you set on the schedule to the machine. I set to 63 degrees and it remains on 67. Very frustrating and disappointing.
The Ooler did exactly what it said on the box. I’m sleeping better and longer waking up in a pool of sweat. The only thing missing is being able to control the fans during your sleep schedule.
Provides a simple interface to control your Ooler, but the scheduling is poorly designed and buggy. It can’t seem to distinguish between a Friday morning and Saturday i.e. if I have a weekday schedule to wake at 6, and a weekend schedule to wake at 8, on Saturday it wakes me at 6! These things are solely designed to help with sleep issues - and are very expensive - so a best-in-class scheduling system is not too much to ask. Otherwise the app is just a glorified switch and a way to push updates. There doesn’t appear to be any assistant integration, which would be a handy way to adjust the temperature in the middle of the night.
Keeps changing back to fahrenheit from celsius. We have two units and one just dropped from the app. UPDATE: all units were gone this evening.
The problem I’ve found is that I can only sync one device (ie., one half of the bed) to my phone. Surely I’d be able to control both sides of my bed from the app!?!
