Nonfunctional App - Terrible Customer Service

This company is a literal nightmare to work with.
This app was not made with Apple users in mind. The phone app was glitchy from the moment I started using it. I sometimes didn’t receive texts from patients, and patients would not get texts I had sent. I didn’t get notifications of missed calls. The lag time when using the phone feature was sometimes up to 5 seconds, making conversations difficult. Overall, just a horrible experience, and I’m glad I’ve switched to a different company. Took me way too long to do so.
The app was functional for me until they implemented 2FA. Now I can’t text because I never receive the email that is supposedly being sent to “authenticate” my account. Support said they would “escalate” my case and that I would hear from someone within 48 hours. That was a week ago.
asking me to verify via email but i am not getting any email from ooma. called customer service and got passed around to multiple people but still no answers ?
Disaster
The new layout is no longer user friendly. There is way too many extra click required. The brain surgeon ho came up with this format need to be terminated.
This app experiences frequent downtime, making it unreliable for consistent use. Text messages often fail to send, and phone calls drop unexpectedly. Despite repeatedly reporting these issues, the customer service team acknowledges the problem but has yet to provide a permanent solution.
There’s no way these positive reviews are real. The company is good but the app is terrible and lacks total functionality.
Won’t pick up calls, won’t connect them and constantly hangs up or silent when answered
The messaging platform on iOS and on an iPhone 15 pro max is frustrating to say the least. No response from support. No mention of fixes in place. How does one keep a sustainable and stress free experience for their business ,and its phone system, if nothing is being done about their issues. I’ve been a customer for coming up on 10 years and there has always been an issue with the app. I must be crazy for staying on this long, but time and technology has advanced dramatically over the passed decade that the time has come I explore other options. For Pete’s sake they have me running on the hardware from 2015 and “nothing has change” according to them so I haven’t not been updated to a new box for new tech. Sorry I’m but you lost this long time customer and it’s time to go. Peace be with you.
