Orange Travel - Mundo eSIMs

The app UI isn’t the greatest, but these eSIMs are my favorite when traveling to Europe. Good price per gig, a phone number with free European calling, seems to connect to all the major European mobile providers at full speed and with 5G support. I’ve been very pleased whenever I’ve used their eSIMs.

While I was able to top-up my plan through the app, I find it a bit frustrating not being able to find any details about it, such as the amount used, etc… It definitely has much room for improvement. I.e.: allowing you to log back on without the need to re-enter your pw every time, but that’s just my opinion. I think it’s a bit confusing for Orange customer service representatives as well. One pointed out a name for the app “mi Orange” which I could not find, and it ended up being this one. I also thought I’d be able to correct some information through the app, but that seems like it’s not an option on there. I couldn’t do it online, and was told to try doing it through the app. So… how can I get that done if there aren’t options for that? Overall, it got the job of allowing me to top-up my plan—albeit with some slight confusion and frustration. I’m hopeful for bigger and better improvements.

Website looked dated. Used app instead for seamless install, purchase, and good to go. Will update if usage is poor.

For those of us who use password vaults and long (20 character), unique passwords for every unique login, it is a significant inconvenience that the Orange Travel application does not support paste into the login password field.

Kept giving me errors when I tried to activate it after purchasing the esim

I just installed the app and, hopefully, it will work when I get to Europe. Installing it was terrible. I hope I didn’t start the clock on my plan yet. I don’t really know. I guess we’ll see.

When you can’t sign in because they can’t provide the actual service you are purchasing from them, the business deserves not only to lose money, but to put out of business.

Paid for the e sim. Cannot register or do anything. Now I’m out my money and will have to buy another from some other vendor. Wondering how this app has such good reviews

Bought an eSIM online. Did not work and I got a text that I was out of balance despite buying an unlimited plan. I added €5 to try if that would work. It nearly immediately told me that I was below €3 and to recharge and then went down to 0. But I had an unlimited plan. Customer service does not respond.

I paid for data plan in Italy, try to activate but it didn’t work. Contact their customer service and after a several emails back and forth they said they refund me money but it will take 10 to 15 business days to process. It’s ridiculous, why takes that long to get a refund, will see if I ever get a refund from them . Don’t waiste your time to buy a data plan with them, specially when you traveling and don’t have time to deal with this problem.
