ownCloud - File Sync and Share

Keeps saying the the server is down for maintenance

I’ve uploaded a fee hundred pictures and all of a sudden the app stops working. When tryong to acces files it crashes always. Makes it completely useless.

Can’t share and upload pdf’s from safari to owncloud app anymore! You can “copy to owncloud”, but this does only open the owncloud app. It should give a dialog to put the files somewhere.

after new installation, syncing folder structure makes the app unresponsive if you need a specific file quickly. the app keeps syncing other files in an undefined order and you are unable to pause or cancel to give the file you need priority. the syncing takes a loooooooong time. horrible performance. it seems the app does not jeep syncing in the background. I’m trying to sync about 7gb and is still not done after a month. if you want to browse through the folders it takes ages before the filenames in a folder are displayed and no clear feedback is provided, so you get the feeling that the folder is empty and then suddenly after a while the filenames appear. this app is NOT designed to sync entire folder structure, but just individual files, and still has horrible performance. keep the old app until they fix the issues is my recommendation.

This used to be great fast software. Now opening a folder takes 20 s.

Grundsätzlich funktioniert die App schon irgendwie. Allerdings muss ich von Zeit zu Zeit das Konto immer mal wieder löschen und neu einrichten weil die App sich aufhängt. Manchmal gibt es beim Status keine zurück Taste so dass die App gekillt werden muss. Manchmal sind Ordner leer obwohl vorher noch was zu sehen war. Manchmal wird laut Status dieselbe Datei rund 100x runter geladen. Für nicht IT-ler nur sehr bedingt geeignet. Denke wir werden in Bälde auf einen anderen Server / Dienst wechseln um Aufwand zu sparen. Schade eigentlich.

Make available offline hängt nach der ersten Datei, hilft nur erneuter Login und damit einhergehend Löschung aller zuvor heruntergeladenen Daten. Somit leider nutzlos; Web-App funktioniert zum Glück.

Der ownCLoud Server an den die App angeschlossen ist, ist mittels oauth konfiguriert. Ich muss jeden Tag, wenn das iPhone neu gestartet wird, die App neu autorisieren. Das ist lästig. Läuft der Grant nur einen Tag oder ist er nicht Boot resistent? Wenn ich dann Fotos manuell synchronisieren will, kommt oft der Hinweis „invalid Grant“ Nachtrag 11/23 Inzwischen funktioniert die Oauth Autentisierung gar nicht mehr. Fotos werden nicht mehr hochgeladen.

Endloses Laden ohne Ergebnis.

Probleme innerhalb von 2 Minuten: 1. keine Folder hochladen, nur Dateien 2. Bei Eingabe einen Foldernamen ist dieser im Dark Mode (Mac) nicht lesbar (Font-Color weiss auf weissem Grund, ...super!) 3. Zuordnung eines lokalen owncloud ordner in settings nicht auffindbar -> Sehr schwach, Software aus den 90er?!
