Changes are no good

Ktray1983 on

This app suddenly changed from having useful rewards to basically “using your points for coupons.” Most of the offers they have for using your points are the same offer you get when you make your first purchase with a brand. I miss the Starbucks gift cards, Target gift cards, etc. Will be deleting off my phone if it doesn’t change.

“Was” great for a season

DuckyBraz on

I have been using this app for almost 3 years. I used to be able to accumulate enough points probably, once a week, or every ten days to get the $1 Amazon credit. I loved that - no complaints! Not too shabby for just using the free app. I am an avid gym goer with Burn Boot Camp so this app WAS very rewarding. There was even a season that when your Referral (friend) who used your code to get the app and after they redeemed their first reward then I could get a $5 target credit or a $5 Starbucks credit. Super cool! The app has updated several times since then with each change it became more complicated and less rewarding… the Amazon rewards have not been available for a long time now. and everything in the Paceline shop where it shows me my points will get me a discount, is no more a discount then buying direct from the website as a new customer. Those companies in the Paceline store, when I visit their website already offers a discount for joining their email list... And some of the items that are available at local grocery store are the same price so there is no savings for the product and then when you shop the website you still have to pay for shipping. So again no real “points rewarded or earned”. It’s a great idea. But it just pushes us to spend more money and I don’t have a budget for for things every week to “redeem my points before they expire”. It’s not for me anymore it’s fun to really earn something but this system feels more like a hamster wheel now. 😔

Disappointing Changes

ejb_zoo on

I started using this app a few years ago. At the time, you got some sort of reward or special each week if you met your exercise goal. You could get things like one or five dollar gift cards to Target, Amazon, and Starbucks, as well as special discount promos to purchase various supplements and things. However, since they’ve made changes, you now have to earn several thousand points to get similar rewards (I.e. 24,000 points for a $5 Starbucks gift card). Because of the rate at which they award points, this means it takes several weeks to get decent rewards. The discount promo rewards have also gone down in quality. For instance, if you redeem 250 points, you can buy 10 chomps sticks for $20.64. This isn’t a deal at all, as you can buy the same product from many grocers for about $17, and not have to pay shipping or wait for them to arrive. Unfortunately, PaceLine is no longer the motivating app that it used to be.

Going to delete

Finally got enough points to get a $8 Nike gift card, which took more time than it should have, and it is no longer available. The rewards available are nothing anyone really wants. And then points expire, this app is no longer as useful. Probably delete today

New reward system is purposefully underhanded

K chaos925 on

Update:May2024 they have removed gift cards completly and now only offer sample kits & “%Xx off” where you still gotta pay for something you “earned” the slap in the face is that these are the same %off that you can get using influencer codes or signing up for the mailing list as a first time user SCAM. Deleting app. I now am a fitness trainer and am actively telling g my clients to NOT use this app. I used to earn $3 Amazon a month. With the old system. It kept me accountable for almost 2 years. With the new system I have earned $4 Amazon over the course of 11 weeks. That’s rediculous. Especially since I reach the HR goal every week. The issue?? They do not automatically give you the point ls you rightfully earned anymore. Now you have to remember to open the app and CLAIM your points and if you don’t. They’re gone. Too bad so sad. I feel like they did this purposefully knowing users alread y have the mentality of not needing to do that extra step and lost points mean less payouts they gotta give. Deleting the app cause it ain’t worth it anymore

Used to be good

rpnp1995 on

This app used to be so good. There were reasonable award for exercising, the best being a gift card for a week worth of exercise. Now it takes almost a 4 months of exercise to get the same gift card. Example, $5 dollar Starbucks gift card is now 24,000 points. With the maximum amount of points you can gain in a week being 1,500 point, it would take at minimum 16 weeks to get that gift card.

On the decline

Disappointed loyal user7 on

I joined this app maybe two or three years ago. At first the rewards were incredible. I was able to get a $5 target or Starbucks gift card every couple weeks. Now all of the rewards are completely useless. Really disappointing. The app used to be so much better!

When is the new credit card coming out?

PatricknLA on

Coming up on 2 years of waiting for the new credit card to come out, additionally now the app signs me out all the time and FACE ID doesn’t work at all even though it is enabled.

Rewards are back!

Mrs.Urie-Ross-Smith-Walker-Gaskarth on

Thank you for listening to feedback and bringing back gift cards.

Doesn’t have good rewards

volleydog22 on

This app used to have rewards you’d actually want, like money towards Target, Starbucks, and Amazon. Now the rewards are a small amount or a percentage off a full purchase. Deleted the app after using for 4 years.
