* Remote recording and image transfer functions can be used with DC-GH5 / GH5S / G9.
For using all functions, use Panasonic Image App.

The Panasonic LUMIX Sync application software allows you to operate a Panasonic digital camera supporting Wi-Fi with your smartphone. With it, you can copy images into your smartphone, take pictures from your smartphone by remote control, and do more.
The following major functions are available with this application.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to copy pictures and videos from the digital camera to your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to take pictures by remote control, checking the digital camera live view on your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily register a camera (camera pairing) through guidance.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily make a Wi-Fi connection through Bluetooth.
・The photographic location (location information) is automatically recorded to pictures, which is handy for sorting pictures later on.
・LUMIX Sync, which supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, allows you to copy images at a higher speed through a Wi-Fi router. (*1)
・LUMIX Sync includes "User Guide", which allows you to know more about how to use it.
*1: The Wi-Fi router and smartphone must support 802.11ac.

What a convoluted heap of c**p, two apps to download pics ? Confusing connections, it only got one star because I couldn’t give it zero, sticking with my canon and just transferring this camera via usb to my pc
Great App, lots of functionality
I have been using the lumix app for the past 2 years, I have also used the apps made by other camera companies and I must say that this one is by far the best and more stable one. It’s simple layout makes it super easy to understand what your options are plus it gives you great control over your camera settings including focus which is great.
Frustrating
Tried for ages to get my TZ100 to connect to iPhone and iPad using the app but gave up in frustration. Downloaded Panasonic Image app and instant success.
Huge privacy issue
As a previous review said, it won’t allow me to connect to my camera without giving it access to my location info. This is shocking, under the bogus excuse that it’s for our benefit, which rings alarm bells about authoritarian governments and scary practices. Oh well, the GH5 ii goes back to the shop. The last of 6 previous LUMIX cameras I’ll own if this isn’t fixed. My trust in Panasonic is gone. I bought it so I could stream with it to share my music performances, NOT MY PRIVATE INFO!
Worst app ever
Tried to connect for over an hour got so frustrated wanted to smash the camera, how can such rich company’s produce such utter rubbish
Really? It’s the 21st Century!
Possibly the most infuriating, user unfriendly app I’ve ever tried to use. Worked once (as has been the experience of other reviewers) & never again. How can a major tech company which builds fantastic hardware produce such a junk app?
Won’t connect lumix fz1000
Will not connect to iPhone, it just won’t connect via Bluetooth. Very frustrating
