Needs features added
Please add frame guidelines like rule of thirds and the ability to view the histogram while shooting. I shoot architectural photos tethered to an iPad and these features are essential for composing and exposing.

* Remote recording and image transfer functions can be used with DC-GH5 / GH5S / G9.

The Panasonic LUMIX Sync application software allows you to operate a Panasonic digital camera supporting Wi-Fi with your smartphone. With it, you can copy images into your smartphone, take pictures from your smartphone by remote control, and do more.
The following major functions are available with this application.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to copy pictures and videos from the digital camera to your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to take pictures by remote control, checking the digital camera live view on your smartphone.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily register a camera (camera pairing) through guidance.
・LUMIX Sync allows you to easily make a Wi-Fi connection through Bluetooth.
・The photographic location (location information) is automatically recorded to pictures, which is handy for sorting pictures later on.
・LUMIX Sync, which supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, allows you to copy images at a higher speed through a Wi-Fi router. (*1)
・LUMIX Sync includes "User Guide", which allows you to know more about how to use it.
*1: The Wi-Fi router and smartphone must support 802.11ac.

How bad?
It is impossible to overstate how frustrating this app is to use. The worst app ever! Just when you thought it would never work it finds a connection. So you try again next time but it doesn’t work. Panasonic engineers really have no idea how to make a camera connect app work for a user. They should hire someone from GoPro or 360 cams to fix this piece of rubbish. Recommendation: Just pull the SD card and load with a card reader. You’ll save a lot of time and bonus, you know it will actually work every time
Issue connecting to the camera
iPhone 14 Pro can not pair with the camera iPhone 11 can pair but the connection is spotty and really slow to connect from Bluetooth to Wifi for remote shooting

Don’t waste your time with this junk software. Panasonic should be ashamed.

Not reliable as their other ImageApp
Not good enough, very frustrating experience with S5 camera. Half baked product from Panasonic.
Nope
Connected to the camera but sending images to iPhone does not work. Camera says images are sent, app will start something different. Connection is slow and the process is sluggish.
Privacy invasion
Requires you to allow location tracking in order to use. This is totally unnecessary for this app’s function. I want to use a remote camera shutter control for a camera that I have paid for, not be spied on. Change this.
Feature Packed but could be faster!
Pro’s: - Simple to use - Feature packed (can control camera, import/view/rate photos, remote shutter, etc) Con’s: - Can’t import most 1080/4K video clip formats - Quite a bit of lag - Can’t delete photos from SD card
