Panasonic LUMIX Sync Reviews

Consistent failed connection

Pmabraham on

United States

I have a Lumix G 97 that I purchased with the hope that this software would allow me to easily transfer images from the camera to my iPhone third generation SE. I have the latest updates on both products. Minutes can pass while it's trying to connect from the software to the camera… It's actually quicker to take out the SD card, put the SD card in the reader, transfer the devices over waiting for all those images to transfer for Lumix sync to actually make a connection. The overwhelming majority of the time it fails. When will this product be updated to work with the latest line of Lux cameras where there's not consistent failure and the connections are quick. In today's age we're talking that this should be to know more than 60 seconds not several minutes to get failure after failure.

Worked for every lumix camera

Can’t stay connected for longer than 20 seconds. Lots of issues. Had to buy a monitor

Essentially unusable, bad handshake. Needs work, I am available

Utterly worthless

Occasionally, after 10 minutes or so of fiddling around with settings, the camera, phone, and app, I will be able to transfer photos to my phone. Otherwise nothing. This isn’t just buggy, it’s a full on nightmare to use. The Oly app is flawless, Panasonic should take a lesson from them.

Nice app! Updated firmware needed

Hard to describe how awful this is. But my DMC-Lumix100 will not work with this app. The app insists on trying to use Bluetooth to pair, yet the camera uses wi-fi. It’s now 2025, and they can’t figure this out?

Kinda works

Magneticnorth124789 on

United States

Very buggy low quality app that gets the job done with a bunch of time wasting fanagaling. Really annoying when initiating the app to have it go through the first time use sequences and pairing each time. But love the remote control mode once it’s all setup. Unfortunately I keep missing great shots because it takes 10 minutes just to get going. Great shots don’t wait for technical difficulties.
