Highlighter Issues

Abhishek Islam on

India

In the recent update, the procedure for highlighting any line has been changed, which has been causing severe challenges to me while highlighting any line. Earlier, the software automatically used to select until the end of the word, but now the software select up to the portion only where I have touched, therefore, causing severe trouble while selecting any line for highlighting. Please resolve this issue at the earliest.

A good app, which allows you to even edit files on cloud

Just one issue, a page navigation pan is given at the bottom of the screen. Many times when palm rejection does not work properly that panel is accidentally touched upon changing the page available on screen. This pan should be removed from there to avoid accidental touch. I hope you people will soon release an update to remove the pan from the bottom of the screen

Highlighter issue

No matter what blend mode I set, the highlighter keeps reverting my annotations to ‘normal’ blend mode after I close the app. I personally did not like the normal blend mode as the supposedly highlighted letter gets faded. Please resolve.

Great app with small problems

AntonEgoTheCritic on

India

Overall the app is great for annotating and viewing pdfs. But there are some issues with highlighting feature where the highlight mode (blend mode) automatically changes to normal (looks bad, blurs and blocks the text) in place of multiply (looks like normal highlight). This causes a lot of nuisance. Hope this gets fixed

I cant highlight! blend mode keeps changing from “Multiply” to “Normal”

Joe lichrelly on

India

I keep highlighting with the blend mode as “Multiply” so that the text would be seen through my highlights but everytime it saves/gets uploaded to my iCloud it turns into “Normal” so i cannot see any text through my highlights since its opaque. My book is now filled with opaque blocks of colour. Please fix this.

there are some gitters when I open multiple pdf at same time

I Keep Coming Back to This

Drooling Yoda on

I’ve installed every other pdf and ebook reader app but there just something about this app that keeps me coming back to it. I think it’s all of the simplicity, tab view, Apple Pencil support and sync combined that make this app wonderful. However, there are just a few shortcomings that feel like annoyances I have to put up with. 1. I would really love to see my progress, the clock and battery in full screen mode. I can double tap to see those but I just hate to have to do the extra tap. I need the progress to feel a sense of accomplishment so I can keep reading. Without it, it looks like I’m reading an infinite book. 2. A library view will be a very nice feature. I keep my pdf books inside folders to organize them. I installed Readera the other day and the library view reminded me of the books that were hidden (nested inside folders) from me all the while I’ve been using my iPad. 3. The Apple Books app has a widget that shows the last few books opened with the reading progress on them. It’s so tempting to click on the book covers to finish them. Would be a great feature for this app too.

Great app

Hey developers , only thing I hate is the bar on the bottom of the screen that is used to quick switch pages. Whenever I try to do something , the page changes itself. Please provide a option to switch it off. Also the second thing is , add the eraser on quick access. Thank you.
