App crashes when looking at clients past appointments. Otherwise a great update
The recent updates have made it much easier for our team to plan their schedule & take bookings for up to 8 weeks in advance. This is definitely a game changer!
There are a few glitches on the desktop version but the mobile version is amazing. Simple to use and extremely helpful!

The new and updated to phorest has been a game changer for my team to be able to see and achieve thier goals! Vision helps so much!
The new update is low key ugly. Its looks low budget in my opinion
pleaseeee please please go back to the old version, the new one is IMPOSSIBLE to read. i’ve been using a booking system for YEARS, this is incredibly difficult to read and to book things and see client notes….everything is awful. genuinely would love to know who approved this update. the desktop version is somehow 1,000 times worse. if you are thinking about using Phorest i would highly suggest looking into a different system.
Better than the last one but could still use refining. Notifications when someone cancels or books would be amazing! Like having a notification center to refer to when you log in of recent activity of your books. Our receptionist are busy and can’t notify us of every single person that calls to either cancel/ change their appointment or when one is scheduled, which we have online options as well which is very annoying to have to constantly check the app in case an online booking is made prior to your shift. When they cancel or change their appt our receptionist are instructed to leave notes on why they altered their appt but I can never see that because I don’t know who moved where so those notes are worthless to me at that point. Sometimes my whole day will change and I’m left wondering who it was and what happened. Maybe it’s a close client and I can reach out to them and check in on them. Also, the chat notifications could be more accurate too. I will sometimes get them as a banner on my phone but if I miss that I have no way of seeing I have a new message when initially going into the app. I have to manually go into chat, and find the message but I don’t always think to check. There should be a Notification Center for all these things! Another thing, I’ll see the little heartbreak symbol on the salon version which means that client isn’t going to their preferred staff member. We also have aesthetics that clients make appts with so that will often show up for us because they use both. Some clients see multiple stylists. You have to manually change in their client profile who their preferred staff member is which is a hassle esp when we can’t see that option on the app to do that. It should automatically update based onthe popularity of visits with a particular staff member, not based on who they saw first.
