This app used to work in a fashion albeit, the order in which you pressed the buttons was not obvious. It has now had a rewrite…….and doesn’t connect at all!

It seemed so wonderfully simple before… and now it’s just a whole lot more complicated. Why?
Photo transfer
Great app
Unusable
The app was brilliant but is now a let down. It does not see all photos on the phone which makes it unusable for many tasks. Just tried to upload a photo from laptop to phone and could not find a way to do it. Now deleted app from laptop and phones and will look for a new app to transfer images or just use a memory stick.
Reliable
I have been using the app for a number of years & it is very useful & relaible
Limited Image Selection Options
When a new photo is transferred to the PC this app is great and simple to use. However, if you have a batch of mixed date images imported to your iPhone, you cannot easily select these image for transfer because they will be ‘mixed up’ with your existing images (ie. They don’t appear as ‘recently added’ in the app).
An old favourite
When several attempts to get my photos off my iPhone failed after spending hours trying with Faststone, Windows, PhotoScan and Simple Transfer, I remembered using Photo Transfer a few years ago. I redownload the app and installed the compliment app on my Windows PC. Like magic it downloaded 100 photos at a time in full res, very easy to use and a big improvement over the version I was using years ago. Well done PhotoTransfer! I am one relieved happy bunny.
A brilliant App rediscovered
I purchased this several years ago but it was v clunky to use and due to my miserable internet speed 3 mbs it didn't do much for me . However after spending 2 days trying to figure how to get 9000 pics off my iphone and 19000 off ipad , via windows 10 and icloud - I've rediscovered this simple app ! Yay ! It keeps all the metadata and keeps them in a similar order ( essential to check which files have failed to transfer ) . I was able to transfer some pics via dcim or file explorer but they were in separate folders and arrrgghhhh messed up .This app is perfect when internet is fast . I don't know if I can get the upgraded version without paying again ... Here I am again uploading more precious pics of my iPads & iphone . Though I cant see the backup option . The precious metadata is still there woohoo! ( I travel a lot and my treasured memories can only be reminded by location ! ( Still superfast an estimated time would be great) An SSD drive makes this a doddle!
Unreliable
This App runs well and then quite often doesn’t connect between my devices. Frustrating.
Waste of time and space.
Quality isn’t good for the photos and most of them don’t even send! Same with videos, now I’m stuck with over 400 things on my library and I can’t get anything off.
