Horrible
I had to downgrade to iOS 17. This is the worst design I ever seen in my life. You took something simple and functional and made it into a joke.
Please revert to old version
The okd version was perfect. Can’t understand why they’ve changed it… This new one is non practical, counter-intuitive and makes it hard to browse through photos and videos. Please revert to the old Photos app!
The IOS 18 update is so bad…
Why on earth did they feel the need to change this? They changed a relatively neat and easy to navigate layout with different tabs for things and folders easily accessible into a scrolling mess with a lot of unnecessary blank space where you can hardly find your things. I wish they’d bring the 17 design back

I prefer from ios 16, this update from ios 18 is to much complicated. We should to have an option for downgrade.

Why change something that works very good with something that is a nightmare to use
New version is worse
Although more polished, the new version is WORSE! Losing the tab view which allowed me to quickly jump from my library to a shared or regular album really hit my user experience. Go back to a tabbed view
Change it back
The ios 18 update doesn’t make any sense. It was a bit chaotic before, but at least i didn’t have to scroll to find my favourites folder which i use multiple times a day. It’s incredibly annoying and inconvenient. The “recent days” and the “people & whatever” are useless and crowding the main page by being places above what is now “pinned collections” (which would make sense to have at the top, not the bottom). Just change it back.
Worse than ever
The Photos app in iOS18 is the worst Apple product. The launchscreen is nice, but the photo/video viewer is unusable.
