Does not even let you create an account … oh you abuse the system… hey your coders gradulated in chinada

Was a great app before, ads only at the bottom of main screen, now theres an ad every time you click on a message and exit a message. Go back to how it was before otherwise deleting this app. That’s horrid when a company lures you in with a decent app and switches it up on you after a year or so to make it unbearable with ads… don’t download this app until they stop these absurd amount of ads. Will update if they do… and will update my rating. Also, whoever I call or if I receive a call, the other party always complains of echoing now… fix this app please

It’s been few years and when I send messages people don’t get them even though it shows on my end they did I have lost out on a lot of deals and customers this way , I have 500 mpbs Rogers internet so there no way it’s that but when I receive message I get them fine no issues it’s not till after I realize the person never got my response and it’s a huge inconvenience. It’s always between the hours of 10:00 am -12 this happens the server for pinger I guess gets overwhelmed around those times they need to build a bigger server to handle all the customers I mean we are paying for it .

Good app, it got me a phone number and I appreciate it, but it’s annoying when I want to use this number to make an account for an app and I have to get a verification code for it, because I’ve never received any of them. Can you please make us able to receive these kinds of verification codes? Thanks!

Can we keep the same chosen number for free as long as we use pinger app? If so, were do those phone numbers come from?? I like this app but don’t want it to draw me troubles if there’s something illegal 😞

I love this app. It’s a pretty straight forward app that does what it says it does and straight up gives you what it claims it does. It gives you a phone number with the area code that matches where you live, as well as unlimited text messaging, and being able to collect free talk time minutes if you want. Best of all, it gives you a free voicemail. In my personal experience, voicemail availability might not always be possible for some budget/cheap phone plans. I use this for a basic phone plan to communicate with those that needed to reach me by phone. While I could technically afford to pay for a cheap phone plan, but I much rather save my money and only get it when I need it. For now, Pringer and Textfree is my main way to communicate on my mobile. There’s a few downsides to this app tho. One of which is I can only communicate via wifi due to me not having a data plan. Which is definitely understandable due to this being a VOIP system, but I still wish there was a way to try and get around that. Also to my understanding, if I make international calls, or any calls for that matter, the other person will get charged, especially if that person is not in Canada or the USA and as well as not using pringers and textfree. I can definitely understand why (reason being that is because people’s plans and what not) but still, that’s a bit unfortunate one way or another. Regardless though, this app and their textfree app is still better than most apps out there that I’ve used.
