This app is so poor when it comes to loading the schedule…. As in, it simply doesn’t. It’s painfully slow and no improvement since the so called upgrade… it’s extremely frustrating!!!

I started using this app when my daughter started swimming lessons. It worked for a total of three weeks and has refused to let me login in since. It says I have the wrong password (which I don’t). Tried to reset but won’t send the email to do so (not in any other email folders). Tried looking on my online account but gives no info, can’t even see my daughters swimming lessons listed as a membership anywhere. So frustrating as it was really useful to see her progress and where she’s struggling, now that’s not possible and the app/website are literally useless. Can’t do anything other than stare at my own email and home addresses, not exactly anything useful 🤦🏻‍♀️

On multiple occasions i(late evening) the app appears to be unavailable - I experience a timeout on the server request to book or cancel a class . This is very inconvenient as I have been fined for non cancellation of a class within the 2 hour limit (even though I had attempted to cancel a class with ample time to avoid a penalty).

I’ve been a member for a couple of months now and have struggled multiple times to book a session due to the App timing out, coming up with an error message or just not loading up any class/court times at all resulting in me missing out.

My daughter has a Junior Membership with Places, and one of the key benefits is same day (off-peak) badminton courts are free of charge (when booking via telephone). If using the App, the badminton court booking option doesn’t recognise this benefit and offers a court booking with a standard £ off-peak fee (the App should be configured to auto-apply ‘zero cost’ at the time of booking (same day bookings only)). Hopefully, the App Developers will take action & provide a fix into their next App release.

Will not let me make any bookings because it believes I am a minor but has my membership details correctly entered as an adult. The app will not let me amend the information that I am not a minor. This causes a lot of waiting time at the centre because I cannot scan to enter the facility as a minor is not allowed the membership card facility.

Like others have said, it’s got potential but it’s always timing out or showing errors. It’s very difficult to tell whether you have booked or paid for anything until you actually speak to the receptionist- defeating the whole object of the app.

Clunky, kafkaesque app that isn’t logical and put me off going to the leisure centre. Booking searches inaccurate and don’t make sense-payment page doesn’t even have Apple Pay or saved cards from phone. A large company on multiple sites should do better than this

The booking never frequently doesn’t work and even when it does work it is slow and cumbersome to use

If I activate 2FA via safari browser login the iPhone app (newly uninstalled/installed to debug) will not let me login. Message pops up saying authentication failure where you would think it would say check for the 2FA code. Switched 2FA back off and it logs in properly on the app. Not great but hopefully this will help you fix it as I’d rather have that enabled. Good luck. App is otherwise ok it seems but mainly need for the QR code so not exactly demanding from me!
