Payment upfront for a poor app
The information was incorrect and showed links to completely different plants. It also automatically set it to a paid subscription and auto-renew. I had to manually change it in my device settings to ensure I wasn’t charged for such a poor app.
Poor plant scanner
I click a plant picture 4 times from same angle and the app shows 4 different names of same plant. Very poor scanner. And the app doesn’t have much information about the plants.
I Love Planto
Super happy! super easy, great pictures,identities were fairly quick and thorough with full description and helpful hints .
Privacy issues
This app tracks u and try’s to identify everything even when it’s been erased and deleted from your phone. Very concerned of the nature of this app as far as privacy
4.99 a WEEK ? Yikes
You get a few free days for a trial, then the wonky subscriptions they have will take every penny they can. Why not just make one charge for the use of the app ? WHO has twenty dollars a month (PLUS taxes n fees) to have reminders for your plants ? You could buy three new plants with that money - ONE STAR - for highway robbery, minimal info on many of the plants listed, takes users photos for the app, and they make money off of you for info they took off of the web👀- better apps out there for sure!! Do not even waste your time downloading for the free trial - they just want your plant pics 🤷♀️

I can’t remember anything and this helps me a lot… then again I never really knew the name of any plants so maybe it’s not so much my memory as it is ignorance… either way this app is awesome!
Terrible
It’s very deceiving download the app using a couple times and then you receive a message stating that it cost $4.99 a week. It’s impossible to figure out how to delete the app from your phone
