Pokémon TCG Pocket Reviews
It’s broken
The game is simple but fine, the battle algorithms, specifically rolling heads/tails is rubbish. More often than not you roll tails , I’m now 9 in a row from 3 attacks with Moltres, its rage quit worthy. There is also no control on who fights who so you end up fighting the same tricked out decks even on a supposed beginner mode. If u just want to collect cards, sure it’s fine, it will grow as they add decks but playing the actual card game is a poor experience.
All based on luck unfortunately.
Unfortunately I’m forced to give 1 star, the game is pretty nice and the idea is cool but at the end it’s just a luck-based game. There isn’t much strategy or entertainment because all you have to do is hoping to receive the right cards and have heads. Obviously I’m the unluckiest person ever, and this really pisses me off. I have to admit that everything is well-organised but there’s not much you can do if you’re unlucky. Not recommended if you’re easily-bothered. I also wanted to add that the packages’ systems are really bad, I’ve opened so many that I have lost counts. However, All cards that I’ve found are either basic or the same epic ones. I haven’t received a new rare/epic card in approximately 17 packages (yes, I counted them), but I keep on finding epic cards that I already have, which doesn’t make sense to me. This is really annoying, as I have to go on and play matches with the same cards and have to hope on lucky that I do not have. I’m not here to force anyone but I hope that in the future, there will be something u can do.

Coin flips
Update again: stop chalking my account bro how are all of my opponents getting 100% of their coin flips???? I’m also flipping at like 25% most of the time this is insane
PvP is awful pay2win
The card collecting part of the game great, solo battles great, pvp however is so ridiculously unbalanced, there is no apparent skill based or level based match making the game just throws you against pay2win players who are 20+ lvls higher than you, with full cheese decks full of mewtoos or celebies.
Missing data sharing option
Give me full function and we are talking
Alright
The game needs to have more ways to access resources as a free to play player and the timers for packs should be dropped a small amount. Also the PVP timers are dumb, why is it when someone is losing they just sit there and run out there 20 minute timer. CHANGE THIS PLEASE. Once their 90 second timer expires nothing happens
They are deleting my comment because I figure out how cheating they are.
Devolepers of this game put geo code. I can proof it. If you are not from asia countiries(mostly from japan) they dont let you win. You never wake up your pokemon from sleep. 6 times tails? Is it normal? When your oppenent has 8 times head. And about deck. Until 4 or less cards left. Tjey never give you charmelon. Or sometiems charizard. Since I make these comments the game got worse for me. Dont play this game or pay anythinf if you are not from japan. Dont bother to play this game. Waste of time for non asians. The devolopers are racist. They dont bother to hide it. 12 times tail? Not possible… If you are not from Japan. This game is rigged. Even the devolepers know this we discovered. They always delete comments
What ever
Games all based on dice rolls 0 skill factor and rolls are rigged garbage
Coin toss is not random
The majority of the cards that have a coin toss - don’t bother with. After playing for 2 months now I quickly realised the coin toss isn’t random and the majority of the time will land on tails. Other than the frustrations of that, the game can be fun.
