Pokémon TCG Pocket Reviews

Billion dollar franchise with piss poor ui ux

Which half wit decides that it's a good idea to automatically change energy after saving deck

Great game but rigged for premium pass users

GellyLee on

Singapore

Premium pass users get better flips. I have 4 accounts and (1) with premium pass. Always get best flips around 80% of the time which allowed me to enjoy with great “luck”. My other accounts used by my family members have very bad flips like always 0-1 heads on 4 toss.

Just a nice trading card app

NonKnown09 on

Game is base on “luck”. But “luck” seems to side on the higher level players. The cards that you so-caller “need” will not appear. The other player will get the cards they need. If you are looking for an app for virtual trading card, they have nice cards. Battle wise can avoid. If you get a player with higher level than you, might as well concede. Dont waste your time battling. Very low chance of winning.

Very Badly Made Game.

such an rng based game but yet they force u to have 3 wins in a row 😂😂 the devs clearly do not know how to play.

Is a flip coin game, just gamble your luck

Fun but Rigged

I couldn’t continue the premium pass as I didn’t enjoy playing the random battles. I have a nice & well thought out deck and strategy only to lose to a bunch of randos who’s level are lower than mine. And the deck that comes to play at a ratio to my favor is a 1 out of 5. I mean, I can spend almost 2 hours just to win atleast 3 battles. It seemed like a good time at first but I’m one of the million suckers that probably spent an amount of time and money on this game. I will be deleting this game for good now. Thanks for wasting a month of my time too. Cheers!

Definitely a P2W game

As a F2P account i felt like this game needed more mission & rewards. Exp are very hard to farm in this game & the match making system is kinda unfair meeting players level 30+ and the current meta decks are killing everyone that wants to enjoy the game.

Fun and exciting

Luck based. 20 pieces of card

Vincy_vince on

Singapore

This 20 piece card game is unrealistic and doesn’t bring you the joy of playing the original TCG. When you play with certain types of Pokémon (IE. Darkness Deck) you will hardly meet opponent with lightning, fire and darkness deck. Very luck based. Flipping of coins and unusual odds. The Pokémon are too OP-ed. IE. Mew and Gardevoir Deck, Celebi and Serperior Deck. Starmie, Vaporean and Gyarados deck. Please innovate and give us interesting abilities for other types of Pokémon.

Imbalanced: the expansion decks are way too OP

Singapore

I hate the celebi+serperior deck with 50hp healing, like wth u can combine a pokemon that doubles energy and a pokemon that stacks 50hp damage for each of that doubled energy. this deck is no fun to play against at all. and im not being bitter, i too have the complete deck but hate playing it. this deck uses the same moves over and over. to balance it out, the stacking moves should be nerfed and the 50hp healing card should apply to all pokemon types. ive also played against the supremely annoying genome copying mew ex card and they should really make that a one off move (lose energy after one use kinda thing). all my hard earned EX cards flop like magikarps against it
