Good
Good for getting accurate proportions. As a hard surface modeler, I used this app to get accurate proportions of an object I want to model. Could use a little more work with accurately get depth data cause it is jagged most of the time.
I just decided one day I would give 3D scanning a try and it was so cool seeing the result of things like apples and oranges etc as 3D shapes.
Much wow
I am new to the world of photogrammetry, but could see the potential for some work projects. There’s a number of different apps available, but Polycam looked like it was well designed and would be easy to navigate. I’m happy to say that’s exactly what I have found. My device doesn’t have a LiDAR Scanner so I’m only using the photography capability and so far I am impressed. The ability to collect images whilst on site, but upload later for processing (when back on wifi) is great. Only down side is that I now want to splurge on a LiDAR equipped device. 😉
Great app love it
Big fan
Ogood
