Used to be good
It was previously a five star, but recent updates have lead to an overall clunky and laggy experience. The audio is especially buggy making it difficult to edit my videos When moving around the timeline the audio will move out of sync, overlap or won't playback properly. Furthermore, selecting layered clips on the timeline is tricky as they're too thin with the new UI. An option to revert to the old UI would be appreciated! Due to the ongoing issues I may have to look elsewhere for an editing app; upsetting as I really did used to love this one, and i've been a paying member for a long time now. Quite disappointed!

Hate software that you can download but then need to pay for it!
If it’s not free then just charge for it! Yes I know there’s a free trial - but that’s a bit disengenuous and a lot of people will Forget to cancel
So Glitchy
Can’t even use this app anymore as it closes down every few seconds. I’ve paid for a subscription and have used it for 6 months… It’s always been glitchy - often slow and audio/visuals out of sync, but i like the app and it’s features; I don’t want to have to find a new app!! But it’s just been impossible to use the last few days..
Constantly crashing
I’m trying to edit a video short for YouTube, but the app keeps crashing every 10-20 seconds or so. It’s unusable. I’ve given a 3-star rating because of its features and I’ve managed to use it before, but now I can’t, and as far as I can determine, nothing has changed on my iPad as I rarely use it.
Lost all my work
Highly frustrating to lose hours of work from constant crashing of the app only to try the ‘trouble shooting tips’ and then start from scratch and lose it all again due to app crashing! I only downloaded this app to make a memorial video for my uncle on behalf of my elderly father (with the plan to perhaps keep it for other projects going forward after the free trial). The app kept crashing and losing my work everyday of the free trial, and funny enough the app let me ‘produce’ the finished video today when I paid the £35.99 for the premium membership… not impressed as this was a special video for our family and I could have done without the stress and feeling hauled over a barrel to pay the money today out of sheer frustration of not wanting to lose DAYS of messing about with trying to extract my video from this app. So annoying because it is quote well designed user interface for what it is. I will contact the developer in hope of a refund and sadly can’t recommend the app now.
You can’t fade!!!
You can’t fade the original file you have to make it a second layer and then you can’t edit the background, so infuriating and a waste of my time
Too many glitches
The sound keeps on repeating and the video does not process.
Annoying bugs
I love PowerDirector and I’ve used it for a very long time. Recently, the editing process has been getting really difficult due to a bug which is making the time to edit so much longer than it has to be. Every time I press play to watch back what I’ve done or to listen to my audio track, it annoyingly replays it a few times but he timeline keeps on moving, meaning that the audio to visuals keeps getting out of sync. I keep editing for a while and then when I rewatch it, the visuals don’t match with the audio at all because when I’m editing it, they don’t sync!
