Amazing game

I had high hopes for this app after spending a considerable sum on the C1 Plus LED light. Unfortunately, the app and C1 are crippled in two key respects: 1. The flash mode doesn’t work with the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s stock camera app. The iPhone will simply use the internal retina blaster. 2. The Profoto app doesn’t support the wide angle and telephoto lenses. You’re out of luck if you want to use Portrait mode or anything other than the standard lens. On a side note, I resent having to spend another £400 to get the AirTTL working with my EOS R just to use the C1 Plus. I wrote to Profoto about the lack of a case for the C1 Plus and, of course, was ignored. Still, the C1 Plus is a pretty paperweight...

This app is getting better and better! Using latest 2.0.1 - connects instantly and feels smoother and quicker overall. I use it with iPhone (and Fujifilm X-T3).

Settings controllable from the app, sounds good but not really useful in the real world. Too much to do during a shoot than to pick up yet another device to control something that’s quicker to walk to it. Useful for firmware updates, but the latest update hangs & I have to reset the flash. So therefore no point in this app at all!

This app connects fast, operates the B10 menu blinding fast in real time. There is literally no lag. Very slick, very quick and really useful functions. Brilliant

I downloaded the app signed in and the second I try to connect to a B10 plus the app kills itself. The app ends and goes to me Home Screen. Then I can’t open the app without it ending itself 3 seconds later. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it. Same thing happens.

I was thrilled that you’re able to not only connect the app to your lights (I use B10X Plus units), but you can simultaneously connect the app to your Connect Pro trigger. This is extremely useful when using a light meter. No more removing/reattaching the trigger your camera. Also incredibly useful to turn on/off the modeling lights when you are at the scene and adjusting the light positions. Being able to update firmware for strobes and the Connect Pro is also very handy. Very easy-to-use and understandable interface.

This may be known to a majority of users. I just discovered how to adjust the power level of multiple flash heads. Not just the 3 stops up or down. The actual power from .01 to 10. This is fantastic. Thank you Profoto…

Still waiting for a firmware update for my Leica M10M to use TTL and HSS. It’s been six months owning this and maybe a year since it was announced. Luckily it triggers my 4- Profoto flash heads in manual mode.

It’s cool but I wish there could be an Iwatch version to control a si gel light through the watch instead
