This is a pure scam. You can't unsubscribe and they will charge you every month ignoring your emails. P.S. I have a history of communication with you not responding to my emails for months. In my very first email I attached all the proofs that my account does not exist, so I cannot login or cancel my subscription. I had to block my bank card to stop you from charging me, again, because you IGNORED ME FOR MONTHS. Only after this review and emails to your legal team I received a response. If I could, I would give you a minus star.

- Free version gives you location at random (you cannot choose what country you need) - so need to pay if you want a specific country - If you have a subscription my advice is create a VPN profile with filters (country you need and add “fastest”) connect to profile it will find fastest available option for the country you need (if you just chose country it will be slow) - Doesn’t work on the big streaming services. (Gets detected and you are not able to watch anything) - Has add block in by default turned on so need to turn that off as most sites can detect it and blocks you. - Word of advice: When you cancel subscription do it on the last date (before it renews). If you cancel it cancels but you have payed full month fee so if you pay and cancel you have payed for nothing. Most services if you cancel after paying lets you use them till end of term - this one does not. You lose money. - Advice: when you leave - after cancelation remove all payment options (if it does not allow you to remove a payment method (the last default payment) it means you have not canceled it and you will get billed) spam that cancel when you are leaving. (Update after dev comment) Streaming services: Disney+ and netflix (on 3 uk servers) gives error (maybe im just unlucky and those exact ones are blocked by them) Channel4 (same uk servers) worked fine I had a subscription. I tried to cancel it on first month’s end and remove payment method but it did not allow me to remove payment method as it was the default one. Then i got charged for 2nd month (guess i didnt cancel it on the first try- thats fine) On second month after it charged me i tried to canceled it again 2 days into renewed subscription and removed payment method (success) but it downgraded me to free version immediately. So i payed for two months in total and got to use it for 1 month and 2 days.

I’m receiving no error messages, I’ve not tried switch protocols, and I’m not using other VPNs. I uninstalled and reinstalled, then it worked fine at first, just like before. Then it started not allowing me to visit some websites. Every time I turn it off to access those though, it turns itself back on, so I had to uninstall again to be able to access what I needed.

Please add a city selection option, such as New York, instead of scrolling down 767 servers to find the specific server. Alternatively, you could include a search feature or both.

Doesn’t work and tries to make you upgrade to do anything

ProtonVPN has a pesky bug. Say you’re connected to location ‘A’. Then you click on ‘change server’. And it fails to connect (50% of the time ‘change server’ doesn’t work in the first click). You will exhaust the limit or it will still increase the cooldown time to change server again!! 0 star for this bug. So easy to catch yet unfixed!!!!
