The PTV app lets you plan your journey using trains, trams, and buses, making travel around Melbourne and Victoria simple and convenient.

Create an account and register your myki for added security. You can also schedule auto top up so you are always ready to travel.

Personalise the app by saving your favourite routes and stops and get real time notification alerts for your preferred stops and journeys.

- Apple Pay: Pay with Apple Pay for myki Money and myki Pass

- Account management: Keep track of your mykis and easily access their balance, expiry dates, transactions, and travel history

Useless for tourists

Might as well directly go to a top up machine if you don‘t have an Australian issued Visa / Master Card. Why??

Awful!

Go to Sydney, they know how to do it. Australian phone number as a prerequisite is ok but Australian issued VISA or MASTERCARD for top up??? As a tourist, forget the app.

Only for Aussies with Australian mobile

Useless for everyone who does not have an Australian mobile phone number as you cannot register with an international number.

Useless

Spent over 30 minutes trying to top up a myki without being able to do it. When there are no machines outside of the train network to top up it’s insane that it’s this complicated. Why is there so many security checkpoints ? Why do I need to provide a number and an address? Truly insane ux for what should be a simple process.

Not usable

You require an Austrian phone number to sign up and top up your cards. Pretty poor for an international city of 5 million. Ah and topping up cards also does not work. Not with Apple Pay and not with providing credit card details. Tried 3 different cards with different banks, that work everywhere else. One star for being able to see the balance of the myki card. And another star for providing information about the connections.

Useless

Can’t recharge for some stupid reason. Everything is crazy complicated, even the feedback form is so stupid that I don’t want to use it… just get rid of Maki card and go for creditcards like Sydney

Never on time!

This app is useless. The trams are never on time - the app uses different times than the schedules at a tram station. Come on...

Unfortunately Useless

App crashes as soon as I'm trying to find connection. App has potential but at the current state it's absolutely useless.

can't search for connection because it shuts down the moment I press on serch
