Race Stats: Speedo and G Force

Many passes and it’s always on par! Also super easy to use.

In order to make this useful for boating you would need to allow for user defined settings. 0-60 is typical for land vehicles but for boats 0-30 might be more common. Many boats don’t reach a top speed of 60. Regardless of how it is used it would be great if a user could define the speeds that trigger the timer to start and stop. Additionally it would be nice to allow the user to change the 1/4 mile timer to a second speed timer. For example I’d like to have one timer for 0-20 and a second for 0-30 (or perhaps 20-30). These features are offer by the Race Timer app but it does not offer G forces provided by this app.

So how does this app work? I’m on 0-60 and it says wait for blue flag to start?? Like I’ve waited for 2 min and nothing. Is it supposed to just track once I start moving to speed?

It’s trash, ran it at same time as my draft and it was over 2 seconds off on 0-60 and 5 off from 1/4 mile…

Don’t get me wrong, i love it but i figured something was up with the tracking when my race car was getting 5 seconds 0-60 times. rented a brand new mustang gt (4.2 0-60) and got 6.03. That’s a little beyond margin of error

This app is great and would be a 5-star except it is missing one thing…the ability to choose what data to delete.

This app had great reviews so I figured I’d give it a try. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong, if the phone Hass to be held in a vertical position, that’s ridiculous. Very difficult to do in a car without a specific mount. My phone sits about a 45° angle. I tried this app multiple times, I hit 60mph every time - the app never showed that I got past 40mph. Now just driving around, it’s very accurate, it matches the speed of my car identically but it can’t handle the rapid acceleration part. Edit: I downloaded the app again months later and thought I would try it. 0 to 60 in a performance model three Tesla still says 9.7 seconds 0 to 60, repeatedly. I hit 60 miles an hour and it doesn’t show up for another six seconds.

I love this app. I just wish it had an 1/8 mile setting. I run the 1/8 more than anything. Also I use it on the street for my Speedo. I’ve checked it against a radar and it’s very accurate.

I really like this app but it needs a start button. I have tons of random readings saved and the only way to get rid of them is by deleting all history, so a start button and little count down would make this the perfect app, me and several people I know do lots of 0-60 tests regularly.
