It starts off straight into the action. Tutorial is very useful and straight forward. Would recommend it. Does get boring after playing it for too long so I would suggest taking breaks from playing but other than that, amazing game!

The game is okay to pass time, but you never get a decent champion from a sacred shard or void or ancient we just get rare and it’s getting absolutely boring now, champions should be easy to get I’ve been on this game 4 years and I’m getting bored now

This game looks beautiful, but that’s about the best part of it. At the start you are exited, but that will pass. You can get some good champion when you use some promo + when you finish the easy & normal campaign, you got some shards and with bit of luck you can get second good champ. But there it ends. Once you’ll start levelling up you’ll notice that in the events and tournaments is impossible to reach the last rewards (if you’re f2p). You’d have to use thousands of energy for dungeon events. Let alone summon event (be ready for needing like 20+ yellow shards). Farming will become yours daily routine and you’ll end up doing it just because you have to. And most likely you’ll end up with nothing anyway. For example I’ve had to use 1500 of energy to get 5 superior elixirs!! The worst thing is it doesn’t look like the chance get any better by beating higher level. So basically you’ll rather fight lvl 8 for 8 energy than lvl 20+ for 14/16 energy. Yellow shards for f2p players… well you’ll get 2-3 a month at the very best. And then it’s just about luck. Seriously 6% for getting legendary champ is a joke considering how hard it is get your hands on the yellow shards. I don’t mind mythic 0.5% as yeah that should be just like they are the very best. And if that’s just super luck if you get them - fine. This game had/has potential, but if you spend years playing it you’ll feel like me. It’s all repetitive and yeah it’s mobile game what you want, but the repetitive boring thing is that you need to use all your resources just for one thing. Then you’ll end up saving resources to get the another and again and again… If you don’t expect much and all you wanna do to play it here and there when you got free minute then I can recommend it. But if you wanna play it and are not ready spent there hundreds/thousands (either minutes every daily or £££) then eventually you’ll just end up disappointed and feel like it was all just waste of time.

Best game for when you are bored and good to play before you go to sleep

There are only two types of players in this : You either become a f2p slave farmer and farm farm farm forever and be ready to spend a min of 8hrs daily. Else you will be wasting your time and get nowhere. This also applies to low spenders (£50 weekly), You will still be required to farm farm farm and spend more hrs completing daily/weekly quests for not much! Or pay £££ and enjoy the game not wasting time farming. This goes in a loop everyday, so you either choose to spend or farm. You will have more luck in getting the best champions by spending and summoning more shards. Once u get them u feel on top of the world! However, that’s only one part of the game you have achieved. 100 more bosses and more champions to get! Since last year RAID have started releasing new champions every single month! It’s total madness how you constantly have to do the same things over and over to gain a little satisfaction and feel you have progress a little. As good as the game looks, end of the day it’s an RPG game and would require luck in getting the best champions, gears, artifacts, souls, portions, etc etc … all based on luck and nothing strategic. Even upgrading anything would either be successful or fail. Most of the time the upgrades doesn’t happen, so u lose ur resources and have to farm again to try ur luck on upgrades till it happens. This gives so much frustrations constantly and more time is required to farm those resources. There’s nothing in the game that bonds players together, in-game chat is basic and always dead, being in a clan doesn’t mean much at all. Even raid uses discord for better chats and all communications. You never can play against any opponent or clan you desire. Instead you are given a list of 15 stronger champs to choose every 15mins. The aim is to always make you feel weak so you constantly have to grow and find the best champions/souls/gears/artifacts/etc etc So many players are trapped in the game due to not getting the right champions. Hence there’s so many videos on YouTube by content creators who finds alternative ways to beat the bosses using goodish champions. It’s all so random and luck that anyone in the game would eventually give up the hope and have to let go. To my experience in this game after 4yrs of playing and getting hooked by its graphics, I’ve basically lived in hope of getting good champs. But never got them. I’ve had to use different 3rd party applications to optimise my teams, and kept farming for 10+ hrs mos

Played a lot in the last 2 weeks and still waiting to get a 6* hero, which I have realised requires so much food champions (600 one star champions) with a lot of levelling them in between that I am spending too much time on the game. I cannot imagine the time commitment to get multiple 6 star champions as a f2p user.
