Photo not uploading on downloaded railcard

App stops working with upgrade and you can’t prove your purchase.

Screenshot is not valid when not in app….however app wont load on train……

I have found this app particularly clunky to use and not easy to understand what’s going on with it. A railcard is a great thing to have, but this app could do with being improved and simplified.

Replacing a physical senior rail card with an app is ok if your trains have wifi and 4 g- which on the Alton waterloo line they often do not have. We have got round it in the past by taking a photo of our card in the app before we set off so it is in the front of our photos- so congratulations to the bright spark who has now blocked photos of the railcard so they come up black. I trust guards will no longer ask to see the railcard now you have made it physically impossible to show it in any form. Guess your systems are done by someone under 30 no-one over that age would design a system that prevents people proving they have a railcard without testing it in real life situations rather than were they are working at home😂 Even funnier is your requirement to have a nickname before you can post a review- and every nickname comes up as already taken and you can’t post without one. You have amused me no end😂

The most bureaucrat and overly (deliberately) complex process possible - I’m a software engineer- so I understand why they make it so inaccessible (because they really don’t want you to use this app)

As I am a Veteran and pensioner and my wife a pensioner then this card makes train travel a viable option for us. Very disappointed that my wife can’t travel on her own as the card holder, me, must be present, seems stingy.

It would be really useful to add the railcard to the apple wallet tickets can be added but then you have to find the app to show the railcard when they could be held together in the wallet
