Latency issues

I have an Ipad Pro (2017) with the latest ios 11.1 installed and the only latency where I don’t hear any clicks or other “artifacts” is 512 which is a little too much for performing or recording. It is the best piano sound I’ve heard on Ipad. If the latency issue gets out of the way it will be AWESOME!
