Rec'n'Share allows you to record audio and video along with songs from your music library and then share your performances with the world.
It digitally enhances the way you practice, record and perform music.

Produce high-quality performance videos easily.
Connect a compatible Yamaha instrument to your smart phone/tablet (*1) to simultaneously record video from your phone’s camera, stereo digital audio from your Yamaha product and stereo backing tracks from your music library (*2) (*3).

Update please

The app has worked really well for me, except for Metronome. Now IOS16 (iphone12) has been updated and Rec'n Share stopped working…. hope the update comes soon.

Latest version problem

I upgraded the app to the latest on my iphone. I push the app button and blackground with white Yamaha logo comes up and after 5-10 secs disappears - the app itself is not starting! Very bad i have to say, because i can not use it at all.

Cant to nothing

Same issue as above.. when trying to save the video app crashes, please help!

Can’t upload file to drop box

If I try upload the file to the Dropbox I’ll get error message: ”Can't upload file. There was a proble uploading…" etc. If I try ”Save video” then app crashes immediately. Please fix these problems…

Not working with iTunes music!?

On every track from iTunes the app states: ”This data cannot be selected.”. Same on iPhone and iPad. I do have an effective Apple Music subscription. First tried to apply songs in ’cloud’. Even downloaded some songs to see if it was an issue with songs being in ’cloud’ only. But, no play. No value. 1-star as per my ’out of the box’ experience. Download and playback on songs from Dropbox works, but playing along music from iTunes is the killer feature of this app, for me at least. I haven’t yet purchased the EAD-10 unit and probably will not until the iTunes music issue is resolved. Should there be a limitation regarding iTunes music, I don’t know, as the app UI does not communicate that to end user in a clear manner. Should there be a EAD-10 device connected, I don’t know, as there is no indication on app UI for that, hence assuming it is not required (and as the songs from Dropbox worked without). But it appears some people have similar issue with Yamaha Chord Tracker app, per YamahaSynth discussion forum. So perhaps this could be an issue / bug in component the two apps are both using, but perhaps this calls for better quality control, Yamaha?! Yamaha, your other stuff is just freakin’ awesome! But in software, also regarding your other apps, there is cathing up to do, to be in par with the quality on your other products. Please do put focus also on usability of the apps, thanks.
