Recover Athletics Reviews

Excellent .

Clearly developed by a team of athlete engineers. Though I love working out, I have little patience for fitness/training apps. I’ve been feeling a little beat with the spring soccer season ending though so I decided to try Recover through my Strava subscription. It is perfect. Such appreciation for quality engineering. Incredibly user friendly, informative without being overwhelming, lots of useful features without being glitchy or tedious. From one engineer/athlete to another - excellent work and thank you.

Custom Routine Improvements Sorely Needed

StopAutocorrectingMe! on

I like the app and the ability to follow pre-determined routines or create custom ones. But I think the custom experience would be much improved if I had the option to just search the name of the exercise I want to do instead of having to click through muscle groups and equipment. It’s also very annoying that when building a routine, I can’t go back to a previous muscle group after adding exercises to my routine without having to start over from scratch. With the current setup, I have to remember or write down what I previously selected as I go through multiple muscle groups.

Stepping back up

Great assistance in building back not only physical strength but mental when it comes to training after an injury. Easy to follow, enjoyable commentary and semi close to personal tailoring/training for any level of athlete. After having a knee injury I truly kneeded the easy to follow workouts to help pass the time when I can’t be fully back out running!

New to the app

I’m new to the app and love this often overlooked component of training! I’m just learning my way around the app and I am using the free version. The stretches and strengthening exercises based on my needs are great! The one area that I don’t see is the forearms and hands. As a climber, I need some helpful recovery for my forearms and hands. Am I missing something? Or would you consider adding it? Thanks!

Excellent when videos fetch

Really enjoy the workouts, but the videos fail to fetch maybe 33% of the time, which is a bit annoying when trying a new routine

Helping me get more flexible with less pain!!!

As an older rider this helps with cramping and they are very convenient. I like being able focus on specific areas as well as using the pre-ride & post-ride stretches. Big difference since started using!!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Want to give it 5 stars!

Like the title says I like the app for what it is and does. I have to take a star off because the error loading video in every stretch/strength/etc… Very annoying!

App latency

It’s impossible to use the app. The content is great- but you can’t get to it.
