Doesn’t work with Dropbox 2FA

Once you leave the app to get the code it makes you restart the auth flow.

Why can't I name the recording before I upload it?

My go-to voice memo app

This is a simple app that does one thing so well it has a permanent spot on my home screen; it records your voice memo and dumps a sound file on Dropbox. Together with a Hazel rule on my Mac that empties the dropbox folder and puts the recording in my main inbox folder, this app has become an indispensable part of my note taking workflow. Highly recommended.

Perfect Simplicity

I've been using Dropvox for years to record musical ideas, lectures and other incidental audio. It's absolutely essential to my music making process, for taking ideas from instrument to computer. It is exceptionally simple, but that's the beauty of it. No unnecessary features or distractions, just a massive record button and automatic upload as soon as you're done. Perfect!

No pause

Can't believe don't have a pause button, sort of useless without one.

Simply & Works Perfectly

This app is simple and it works perfectly. It desperately needs an update to include being able to use the 3.5mm socket to plug in an external source. Would be a 5star app with this update!!

Very basic... maybe too basic

As a previous reviewer mentioned, having a pause button would be helpful. Having some basic editing tools like trim to crop the audio file to a bracketed segment would help the user control file size. Having the ability to select audio files from voice memos would be useful - like selecting from your photo album when you use Instagram.

Simple interface which is awesome. Only needs one additional feature, a pause button! Surprised it hasn't got one already. Can't be that hard to add???

Memory Management issue since iOS6

Was quite happy with this well designed app but twice now I find Dropvox is short on space and Usage reports app plus data of over 28GB and other apps suggest it is no misread. ErR! PS an iTunes sync/transfer seemed to at least temporarily recover most of that 28GB so other apps get room to operate in and DV is able to fulfil its upload function. Looking forward to this app looking after its own housekeeping. R
