Can’t find aquarium

Dryhms on

Every time I close the app and reopen it, it tells me can’t find aquarium

user friendly its not

Works but will not stay connected to wifi and now won't even and no other options to for connecting and controlling the device. Workmanship great, software is written in crayon.

Every Day

ZionLion11 on

Every Day I have to reconnect the LED 90 to the app. Even re do adding a tank

Useless

upset 3 year old on

This is the most useless app and without it you can’t use your new skimmer. It has to do a firmware update straight out of the box. It has to be in AP mode but won’t stay there, makes you join your home network. So it’s a vicious cycle and it won’t let you finish adding your device. I’m very upset with this system, but doubt I can get any help with it.

Good Functionality, Poor Execution, Potential Security Issue

Nuk3s on

United States

Super lazy design to find your ReefBeat devices on your network. It actually scans EVERYTHING on your network to try and find your devices instead of using the cloud servers to act as an intermediary, or even STUN to manage this without the cloud portion. I do not think they are doing anything malicious with this scan data, but in general this is a lazy and very fragile way of conducting device discovery that CAN be a security issue and WILL prevent this app from working on most well designed networks.

Horrible App

StringF on

Connectivity issues occur all the time. When it does work any changes take forever. All the controls of how the app thinks you should use your device. Let ME control my lights!! Never again will I buy a Red Sea product!

Connectivity problems

James Emory on

United States

Once you get it connected it works great. Twice I lost power in two years and it takes three to four days of emails to resolve the issue. Going on four days tomorrow and still not working. Back to emailing again. Wish I would have just stuck with socks. I average 60.00 for new filter rolls every 9 to 12 weeks.

Connecting

goldenbunbuns on

Items do not stay connected to the internet ever!! Lights continuously need unplugged and plugged back in to work, dosers never connected.

Garbage app.

Tanster22 on

Any time power or WiFi goes out, the lights won’t turn back on. This app is absolute garbage.
